Has anybody figured the video out completely? I get the song and the summary of the video, and a lot of the first half. But some specifics are still doing my head in.

Is the 2nd blonde Jade same as the first that got replaced by Naive/brunette Jade? Is the red-haired Jade an imagination of brunette Jade, or did she replace brunette? Were the other girls with the brunette representing her band mates?

I suppose the re-chewed gum and spittle drinking were added to heighten the chaos even more!

So diva Jade is essentially doing the verses.

I mean I've always looked at the video as the manager is a caricature of Simon Cowell. He's not just a random manager, it is definitely him. I assume the jade that kills the other jade with the chair is the first jade in the video as well or is it a different Jade? The video definitely adds appeal to the song for me though. It's superb x

Yeah it’s definitely Simon. :lol: but I guess he could also represent all managers as well.

This is pretty good. It fell 15k in the UK so it only fell 15k in the rest of the world altogether.

I took the blonde straight haired Jade to be the ‘diva’ Jade who got replaced and the 2nd verse is her yelling at her manager and being a diva and demanding and being angry she got replaced, then she returns with the steel chair to attack the red haired Jade.

 

The angel wing Jade is the one who started off busking then ran out of the car and away from Simon because she didn’t want to flirt with men to boost her career. She then watches the other two Jades from the window at the studio.
