I have a lot of respect for Jade and the type of artist she is. She debuted with a song that wasn’t the safest choice at all, the visuals have been amazing and now she’s dropping a completely different version with a performance video :cheeseblock: She just makes it so easy to stan.

I love the theory that the original is blonde "pop diva" Jade's version, this one being brunette Jade's version and there being a punk/grunge version later down the line being red haired Jade's version! IMAGINE!

 

I doubt it as I assume it would also have been on the physical versions. But I am BLOWN AWAY by this 'S.A.D. Version'!

I like the SAD version. She slayed the vocals. BUT, it doesn't quite have same magic as the original for me. Slowing it down and singing the lines (instead of "talky-singing" them like in the original), makes the "chaos" of the song slightly less appealing than in the original.

Still like it though.

Those vocals at the end! Obsessed.

I love the vibe of the S. A. D. version! It's also prompted me to finally order the 7" vinyl too.
