How does auto play work exactly? I only really play my own library on shuffle so I don’t think I’ve ever had anything forced upon me

I *think* you can have it on or off

and then if you have it on, when you play an album or a playlist it automatically plays something once it's finished

but in my experience in the past it was something kinda "natural" that made sense

like you play Cranberries and it plays you Hozier or Sinead O'Connor

but not it's label paid and it's always the same song, I did noticed it first with Djo,

autoplayed all the time no matter what and always with no sense at ll

It's when you actively play one particular song from search (or reach the end of an album or playlist) and then other songs automatically follow that it comes into play. In principle this is supposed to be similar songs to what you were just listening to and often is but on several occasions it's been noted that users are recieving certain songs on autoplay a lot and said songs seem to have a significant cut in numbers after about a week.

Well I've had 'Fortnight' come up several times this week after pretty unrelated tracks despite never listening to it once on Spotify

Sabrina up to 9 on apple music, Hozier up to 3. Looks like a pretty close 3 way race next week
