From memory does any Gaga stans out there have a period of when Gaga announced her albums to when they were released / the gap between them?

 

If this is coming in February would this be her quickest?

 

I know off the top of my head when Born This Way and ARTPOP were announced.

 

Chromatica was pushed back slightly initially too right I’m sure that was initially meant to drop in April of 2020.

I’m starting to get worried LG7 will get pushed back, as we haven’t even got an album name announcement :(

I'm thinking it could come out 1-2 months late, in March or April, like Disease that would come out in August but came out in October after being delayed because of DWAS.

 

Or she could pop in out of nowhere any day this month and announce everything at once: name, cover and tracklist.

I wouldn’t mind that actually, as I rather Gaga does a traditional album roll out and build up hype for it than do a Harlequin and drop it out of nowhere.

 

This means she can build hype from the point of the Grammys and Spotify record for DWAS (I’m hoping DWAS would win something at the Grammys and gets publicity from it), and then launch single #2 followed by album release details.

The giant flop of Disease means they are probably rethinking things, perhaps recording new songs, getting new features, etc

In a way I’d not be too mad plus Die With A Smile is still smashing that even another single drop right now would feel a bit crazy but February does feel very soon especially if we’re getting pre orders etc.

 

 

Anything released right now would be eclipsed by DWAS’s mammoth success. As hungry as I am for a new pop song from Gaga, I do think putting a halt until it slows down (if it ever will slow down!) before releasing single #2 is the best option here. She has so many events lined up in the year that can be used to promote single #2 and LG7 so I’m not worried.

The first day of her Coachella set is April 11th, Friday, so it would be interesting to drop the album that day. However, I think March would be the best month to drop.

 

Pre-order by the end of the month, dropping it at the end of March along with 3rd single, so she would have 2 months of pre-orders, she would avoid February which will be dominated by Kendrick and using Coachella as her wildcard to give the album a boost and maybe taking it back to #1.

Great pics, but I won't get fooled. I'll only believe it when I see it.
