It's now likely that MAYHEM is gonna surpass how many weeks Chromatica did. Once MAYHEM reaches 25 weeks, it'll be Gaga's third longest-charting album! @HausofMayhem @Sour Candy

Well, I hate to come here as the only post so far of not complete positivity but I’m a little disappointed :( I do like pretty much every song and I particularly like the run of How Bad Do U Want Me

It’s so unfortunate that the BRITS hasn’t been able to get her since 2010?! It’s always just been a case to timing / when she’s been in cycle mode she’s had conflicting events at the time. Hopeful we will get one in the future though.

The fact that she hasn't promoted this album outside of the US yet...

I do feel Gaga is one of those acts that does suffer in the UK albums mainly due to stupid chart rules, where if an album just has a couple of hits it gets penalised for it. Mayhem might do better because it’s had more hits than Chromatica did but I’d like to think both would be platinum now if it wasn’t for that (or at least on the cusp of being platinum).

I really hope she does push another single as I think she could still have a surprise smash from this album with the right choice/promotion.

Definitely - acts like Beyoncé and Justin Bieber had #1 hits but their latest albums didn't do much because there were never three big songs simultaneously. At least Mayhem is charting longer than those (CC has 21 weeks, Swag 13 to date)

She made a mistake by not releasing a single between Abracadabra and Dead Dance, you can't have a 7-month gap between two singles during an album's promotional cycle, you have to strike while the iron is hot. She should have released How Bad in the summer, even Spotify named it as a candidate for the summer hit. She made the same mistake as in 2010, by not releasing Dance In The Dark or Monster as a single between Alejandro and Born This Way.

Yeah I also agree with that, how bad should have been a single and they left it too long. Zombieboy I’d also argue would have been better than dead dance as well.

I still feel like at some point How Bad Do U Want Me will get its flowers in a Cruel Summer (on a smaller scale) / Breakin Dishes kind of way. I feel like if she performed it the Grammys the way she does on the MAYHEM Ball it would be a big talking point / get a viral moment.

Garden of Eden, Zombieboy, Vanish Into You and Shadow Of A Man I feel all could’ve done well with a push too. I still feel it’s her biggest solo era since Born This Way regardless what happens from here but there is still potential there. I hope we get something else pushed in Q1 (although there’s rumours of a deluxe / EP dropping).

It really annoys me how Garden of Eden, Vanish Into You, How Bad and Zombieboy have all been wasted so far (and how something like 'The Dead Dance' was given a chance to shine instead)

Love Drug was used in the Netflix movie The Thursday Murder Club, which was released back in August.

It’s only in 2 small scenes but it made me think it might’ve worked as a single.
