It tends to be more the other way around, even spilling over into management. Ex Man Utd player Mark Hughes eventually became Man City's manager and former United assistant manager Brian Kidd became M

    This is actually hilarious

Salah is now joint 5th top premier league scorer ever.

If he stays two more seasons he’ll probably catch Kane but I personally think he’ll go to Saudi Arabia next season.

6 wins in a row, 3rd in the league, 6 point gap to 6th place after 20 games.

"there's no way they'll stay up there"

"they will definitely get found out"

"they're not that good, just lucky"

*plays Liverpool (1st), Arsenal (2nd), Man City (5th), Brighton (6th), Bournemouth (8th), Newcastle (9th) and Fulham (10th) in the next 8 matches*

3rd in the league, 5 point cushion to 6th place

Champions League Reds, it's happening!

Yeah I'll have to concede it's pretty much in the bag for you guys now. Not because your form is that amazing (3 wins in 8) but because there literally isn't 3 other team below capable of putting together any sort of form either, I think City will just about scrape 3rd in the end but all the other teams clumped outside the top 4 are not consistent enough to mount the gap then pull away.

Well Forest are the only team to beat Liverpool this season so they’ve proved they deserve champions league technically you could have 7 premier league teams in the champions league next season I think

Aston Villa winning this season's Champions League if they finish outside the top 5 in the Premier League.

But I thought if a team who doesn't finish top 4/5 wins the Champions League, then they take the spot of the team finishing top 4/5, like Chelsea did to Spurs in 2012.

Saw it the other day. Don’t understand the rules though but that would be over 1/3rd of the premier league in the champions league 😁

If Villa win the CL then fair play.. likely PSG/Liverpool, then likely to Real Madrid and then Barcelona or a home game against Bayern Munich! lol Would be like that Real Madrid run from 2022 (I think!).

With Bournemouth, Man City and Brighton all failing to win and forest winning again they look to have secured champions league football for sure. Though it appears Tuchel doesn’t watch them

Talking about the Champions league slots, pretty ridiculous that the 5th spot is nearly always gauranteed to be one of the 5 big leagues, should really just spread the wealth and give it to the next European league without an automatic spot!

It would be very ironic if Man City finish 5th this season of all the seasons and manage to qualify for the Champions League.

Unfortunately they have very kind fixtures left so unless the charges produce a points deduction they should make it baring a few real shocks

That's the sort of thing they do, like when they won the tournament the season after they were "supposed" to be banned from it.

Nearly as bad as if the ‘worst United team in history’ got into the European cup by winning the Europa league!
