Tbf it is a Gracie Abrams Song… and the impact it could have after the performance won’t bd seen till tomorrow when we see todays streams, it was performed at around 9pm last night

I mean, considering the current top 2 is only there because of Taylor I can see why better would've been expected.

 

I know your taking the piss out of those who said Sabrina is only successful due to supporting taylor but I thought I’d add this in here to prove that is statistically wrong - billboard published a graph of her streaming growth (idk how to add an image, tips would be appreciated,but here’s a link to a discussion that shows said graph which cheddar shows no streaming increase post eras tour … in fact they slightly declined oop https://images.app.goo.gl/YaUQEHM2PyewoqT67 )

Just noticed that Jordan Adetunji has completely vanished from the Spotify chart today - assuming it's just a glitch and it'll be back tomorrow, I remember that happening to Dasha.

 

Have just listened to it now and while this particular song at least doesn't remotely live up to the description of his music from his website it's still pretty infectious, can definitely see it growing on me more (don't think it'll be particularly popular on here though lol, sounds like it could be a Lil Tjay song). Feels like it's been a while since we last had a Northern Irish artist in the top 40, have there been any since BICEP in 2021? Might be forgetting someone obvious but a quick Google isn't bringing up anyone more recent.

 

edit: nevermind, I was forgetting a pretty big recent one - Billy Gillies :magic:

 

She really exploded when the please please video got released in part because the video confirmed her relationship with Barry Keoghan, given he almost single handily was responsible for the revival of murder on the dancefloor too, he's had a huge impact on the charts this year
