If this is referring to the old rule affecting any song over 3 years old whether it charted or not, they scrapped that. As Pink Pony Club has never charted, it should be treated as having its full streams applied until it has its minimum 9 chart weeks and 3 weeks of decline. Here’s hoping it takes over Red Wine Supernova soon.

I think they only scrapped the restriction on songs over 3 years old being able to get an automatic reset - however those songs still need to have the 25% increase within a week or a manual reset to actually move out of ACR, and I'm not sure 'Pink Pony Club' has had either.

Makes absolutely no sense for a song which has never charted to be on ACR in the first place, the OCC need to get their heads checked :lol: it should be 3 years from date of first chart rather than release.

Songs over 3 years are allowed an automatic reset if their streams increase by 25%, on the basis they haven't charted within the past 3 years (well that's the official rule anyway).

Thats what I meant, that they need the 25% increase, it's not they automatically reset everything

The 25% increase is generally referred to as the "automatic" reset, hence the confusion.

I guess there's an element of there just being a bit less novelty now that England are reaching these late stages in tournaments more consistently, and there's definitely been a sense that we've been pretty lucky to get this far while playing pretty badly (only getting one win in the group stage but still somehow winning the group, saved from defeat by Slovakia by a last minute miracle goal etc.) which tempers the enthusiasm a bit, but then we were finally playing better in the most recent match. Even so I am surprised at just how much lower the numbers have been so far but you'd think they'll still pull off some pretty huge numbers on Sunday especially if we do win.
