July 22, 20241 yr Probably one of those times that I'll pay attention to our Indonesian badminton team. Hoping for at least a gold! Edited July 22, 20241 yr by CowTzy
July 28, 20241 yr Not a great start for our WD team Rahayu/Ramadhanti with 2 losses already. Ramadhanti's far from her prime era, but we definitely won't defend the gold medal.
July 28, 20241 yr Incredible for Dan Evans and Andy Murray to see off five match points to win against Japan. Murray's career not over yet!
July 28, 20241 yr Obviously not expecting them to go much further but excellent to see Murray's final tournament having a good comeback moment and not being ended in the first round.
July 29, 20241 yr That comeback from Murray/Evans was insane. Evans must be feeling the pressure to perform. Must be gutting for Nishikori, who lost to Draper earlier in the day also
July 29, 20241 yr Nadal beating Fucsovics yay and now Nadal-Djokovik today, think poor Nadal is gonna be demolished
July 29, 20241 yr Great win from our MD's badminton Alfian/Ardianto against the home team Corvée/Labar.
July 29, 20241 yr bye bye Nadal, there was a tiny speck of hope in the 2nd set when he won 4 games in a row but alas Nole proved too hard to bet for Rafa
July 30, 20241 yr The Jack Draper loss was hard to watch. He had like 8 break points (including 0-40 up) in the second set and didn't take any. Then got broke repeatedly and lost 2 sets to 1......
July 30, 20241 yr Author By the way the media are reporting it you would have thought it was just Andy Murray playing....
July 31, 20241 yr really love watching the double matches, never had before and didn't know they were so exciting and enjoyable. Alcaraz Nadal was a great watch.
July 31, 20241 yr Author Carlos Alcaraz is into the men's singles quarter-finals at Roland Garros after he was too good for Russian Roman Safiullin, winning 6-4 6-2.
August 1, 20241 yr too bad Nadal-Alcaraz are out in doubles, think they paid the lack of experience playing doubles from Alcaraz some interesting battles ahead today in singles. Swiatek is playing terrible at the moment so could be a surprise goner
August 2, 20241 yr Swiatek out, not the most interesting female final ever :/ Zverev also out, really hope Alcaraz-Djokovik make the final in men
August 3, 20241 yr Happy to see Tunjung heading to the semi final, our last hope for the badminton category.
August 4, 20241 yr Zero gold medal for us this year, unfortunately. Hope Tunjung could steal the bronze so that it won't be too bitter for us.
