I'd imagine it'll get explained away on screen by Billy perhaps. Maybe they'll introduce an off screen event like something to do with Bert (or even Les/Pam) that requires Jay to "leave"

It does seem odd that he isnt even getting an exit or been brought back for it so there most be way more going on.

I wonder will that be it for the character or would be possibly recast the role?

An Max/Zoe situationship is not needed.

This Ravi and Jack stuff is judt not working. Not only are they both horrendously written, and Jack very boring too, but they are both feeding each other's bad acting. They get worse in every scene! Denise's acting hss really fallen off a cliff in recent years too, and she's supporting the storyline!!!

It's like having Anthony Truman take centre stage with Nigel's wife and the kid actors!!!

For me Jack has improved as a character the last year or 2 as prior to that he was just forgettable for me.

Nigels wife im on the fence with, she does have some great one liners but other times she annoys me.

I wonder how long the Nigel storyline is running for as i think Paul is doing an amazing job with the storyline and the storylines really works alongside Phil Mitchell as we are seeing yet another side to him.

Also, I'm gonna say it. Idk if it's just because I've never really warmed to the new Johnny but I don't like him and Callum together, it just seems so forced and sudden and they don't actually have any chemistry together. What happened to "I can't because I'll lose Lexi?" Now it's I don't care??

I did wonder the whole writing approach there to Callum wanting to tell everyone they're together. Like, um, you're married to Ben? Probably need to deal with that first hun before telling the likes of Kathy and Phil (though interested for that reaction, Part II) that you're dating Johnny.

Eeee-laine isn’t that funny but I do giggle when Kim calls her Lorraine. It’s that kind of self involved consistency that made Janice so funny and the fact that Elaine actually corrects her is gold. It sort of gets ruined by Kat joining in.

Callum and Johnny are awful. I actually like this Johnny but they have no chemistry whatsoever.

I’m assuming Anthony is hanging around because he is the likely father of Zoe’s kids. Apparently we have a mysterious 19 year old girl joining soon who can at least pass as mixed race-coincidence?

I wonder how long Anthony is back for, not that im overly bothered as he isnt exactly riviting to watch.
