December 2, 2024Dec 2 His final episode is going to be one of the toughest watches in the history of Soap for me. Knowing that we'll genuinely never see him back ever again. Jeez. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it was for the cast and crew to film. I had a little cry while watching his interview on YouTube earlier. He's showing such bravery and dignity in the face of such a vile illness. He's always come across as such a kind and genuine man. The terms "icon" and "legend" really don't do him justice. December 2, 2024Dec 2 I was so sad when i read the story and his exit is going to be such a hard watch.I hope Ian gets to enjoy whatever time he has left, and hopefully he manages to get more time than the doctors may have given him.
December 10, 2024Dec 10 Really sad to hear that about Ian Smith, he's a soap insitution, and Harold is still a very welcome presence in Neighbours, really will be so sad to see his final episode. Apparently, Madge is coming back for it? Presumably as a vision or a ghost or in a dream etc. --------- Weird how much Toadie has been in it the last couple of weeks, having left with such huge fanfare not a couple of months ago. I guess he was saying goodbye as a regular only but I didn't realise he'd very quickly come back from time to time to dominate the weeks he was back anyway. Also, the Heath storyline did not need another arc, it's been the worst of the year for me I think, and it's dominating proceedings again now for who knows how long. December 10, 2024Dec 10 Agreed, we didn’t need to revisit Heath. However, I’m delighted to see that Tess will be back and her acting as stilted as ever. There are too many guest villains/characters swanning in right now. I feel like the Varga Murphy’s are the only ones with their own storylines right now but you can see Chelsea returning with ‘Paul’s’ baby a mile off. And it was pretty uncomfortable watching the regulars bullying the retirement residents into accepting back a woman who put their lives in huge danger. Neighbours can be so off with these things.
January 9Jan 9 The tributes to Lyn today were lovely, I’m still upset that Janet has passed. This episode must have been filmed around that week. I love that she’s kept in touch with Gino all these years. I do think they will eventually write her out for good-it’d be an excuse to gather the other Scully characters for returns. Intrigued by the Hilary stuff but doubt it’ll go anywhere given that she never says more than one sentence in a scene.
January 10Jan 10 Yes i also enjoyed the tributes to Lyn and it was done subtly but lovely. Dont really understand why Hilary came back as she says or does hardly anything which is a shame as she used to come out with some great lines.
January 22Jan 22 Just catching up on Monday as I’ve been away this week. Lovely to see Hilary utter as many as four lines in the episode! I hope the actress is ok.
February 20Feb 20 The Sun broke it last time so it’s probably true. They didn’t really do enough to keep it. It’s been really boring for some time now. I don’t think they made the most of the second chance they got and it’s almost like it wasn’t worth reviving despite there being some big highlights.
February 20Feb 20 It never really got off the ground did it? The terrible decision to lump Terese and Toadie together, the insipid storylines, the revolving door of atrocious American actors, the large breaks from some of the regular cast members. I'm sad because I'll always love the show, but am I surprised? Not particularly.
February 21Feb 21 Its been officially confirmed. Still four episodes a week and will end in December. Interesting wording from the statement, though... "Neighbours will be resting" "We believe there are more stories to tell" I wonder if they've been shopping around for a new home.

I have to say I kinda feel the same, I don't think they done enough to entice new viewers and if they attracted any new ones not enough was done to keep them on board, the sad thing the ending last time was a great ending to the show whereas this time I think it will go out on a whim as people won't return like before. Its a huge shame as neighbours is such an institution.
March 13Mar 13 I like Holly and the actress playing is good but i think they give her far too much drama. While dreading Harolds exit i am looking forward to having him back on screen and im interested in what role Anne Charleston will play in her return to the show and how it will pan out.
March 17Mar 17 I think now that people know its ending they are just not as invested in it, kinda preparing to say goodbye but probably miss episodes and tune back in for the final week.
March 18Mar 18 Krista is such a natural beauty, not sure why that slapped that clown make up on her for her wedding.
April 14Apr 14 That was a lovely last episode for Harold, all the clips were brilliant. Just have to forget that this is at least the third time Harold has left to go a live with Sky and that he turned down the chance to go back with her less than a year ago.
April 14Apr 14 The clips were great and really reminded me and brought me back to the golden era of Neighbours,
April 22Apr 22 Another cliffhanger of Terese telling Paul that there’s no coming back from this was giving me teas of
