Well its all wrapped up now as the show has finished filming, no surprise its got only a very small fraction of coverage that it got when originally ending the last time, i think the final episode this time may be fairly low key and purely based on the current cast.

I’d be ok with that if that’s the way they go.

We had the big emotional send off in 2022.

Ya no matter what they do they will never come to close to the 2022 ending as i thought that was the perfect ending to the show, in a way i wish it was left at that as now it will most likely go out on a whim, at least the return got it to 40 years on air which is a huge achievement in itself.

Living for all of Jane’s photos of Mike being promo shots 😂

Paul saying the last time he saw Elle ‘she just wasn’t herself’ is setting up for the recast that I am not looking forward to. How can it be anyone but Pippa Black?

Surely Holly will now end up pregnant but there isnt enough time left in the show to fully build up a whos the father reveal.

This Andrew and Holly story is atrocious and no one asked for it. Thank goodness this is ending soon.

I MIGHT be able to get on board with New Elle as I can see she’s being written consistently and that the actor is actually managing to keep all of the mannerisms and intonation that the old one had.

But it is jarring that this isn’t Pippa Black and with the show ending in a couple of months, it seems so pointless.

The Holly/Andrew story is a horrible watch. Are we supposed to be rooting for them? Because I’m not. Even showing him and Wendy having problems in the bedroom? It’s one of the most depressing stories I’ve seen Neighbours do.

It's a real end an era those studios been demolished and likewise it does really confirm neighbours is gone forever.

I was so sad about the show ending two years ago but not so much now. Agree with T Boy that the Holly/Andrew thing makes me squirm, and I hate the Remi memory loss storyline too, as she was probably my favourite of the 'new' characters and it just feels like a different person now. Also never been fond of 'new' Nell, the actress has a very strange over emotive but not in a believable way kind of acting style.

Agree on new Elle too although quite impressed with the actress getting the mannerisms spot on, it's just weird seeing how different she looks to Pippa Black.

Not really sure where they're going with the last few months to wrap these stories up in a satisfying way.

I hate the Remi memory loss storyline aswell, but memory loss is a storyline Neighbours has always liked down through the years.

Likewise i was very sad the first time the show ended but im fine about it now, i think when it came back there was always that uncertainly how long it would last but its nice that it helped the show make it 40 years on air.

The downside for me is the finale the last time the show ended was the perfect ending for me and i really cant see this ending coming anywhere near as close.
