June 4, 201510 yr Trap Queen on Capital :o Maybe this is enough to keep it high on streaming and in the Charts.
June 5, 201510 yr Thank the lord at the removal of these! Chris Brown X Tyga - Ayo David Guetta feat. Emeli Sandé - What I Did For Love Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do James Bay - Hold Back the River Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk I mean I love LMLYD, but it's been around too long
June 6, 201510 yr Wow! :o If Capital are really playing Trap Queen (during the day-time) it could get it into the top 10 after all, or at the very least prevent a free-fall.
June 6, 201510 yr Which radio station has more influence on the chart? Capital or Radio 1? I'd say they can both have equal effect on the chart!
June 6, 201510 yr Which radio station has more influence on the chart? Capital or Radio 1? It's a tough one, but the heavy rotation that Capital give to a song once is playlisted definetely help a lot, more than R1 Instead what about a top 5 ?? 1) Capital 2) BBC R1 3) Heart 4) BBC R2 5) Kiss or Smooth ? June 6, 201510 yr in terms of listeners this is how it is; BBC Radio 2 (15.3m listeners every week)BBC Radio 4 (10.8m)BBC Radio 1 (10.4m)Heart (9.0m)Capital FM (7.1m)BBC Radio 5 live (5.6m)Classic FM (5.6m)KISS (4.9m)Smooth (4.8m)talkSPORT (3.0m)https://media.info/radio/data/the-most-popu...tions-in-the-uk I'd say R1, Capital and Heart all have a similar amount of chart influence anyway, but R1 does get the most listeners out of the three.
June 10, 201510 yr Lol they feel forced to add Walk the Moon! That Felix Jaehn song isn't out til late August?!

June 12, 201510 yr Surprised Pretty Girls is still there. I'm sure they never play it. A lot of the time, Capital add things to their playlist and keep them dormant, playing them only at night time (if ever). But on release week, if the song goes into the top ten on iTunes, and remains there for a few days, then they suddenly start playing it on their daytime shows. Edited June 12, 201510 yr by Joe.
June 12, 201510 yr Would be nice if Capital could take a bit more "risks" and play things that aren't either already hits or are so obviously going to be a hit. I know it's in their description to play hits, but something like 'Pretty Girls' fits with the sound of the other songs they play and could quite easily become a hit with Capital support. I mean, I find 'Pretty Girls' pretty naff albeit incredibly catchy but it's the sort of thing they'd play.

They actually were playing it regularly for the first week or two, but seemingly stopped when they noticed they were the only big station playing it. *sigh*, but yes I agree. They followed through with 'Braveheart' and single-handedly made it a hit.
June 12, 201510 yr Just goes to show howbig a hit songs like Walk the Moon, James Bay & Hozier are that they are forced to add them to their playlist, esp Take me to Church which was OAOS!
