It has a number of playlists that determine specifically how often songs get played but this information isn't published.

June 8, 20215 yr Very random question lol but I would appreciate it if anyone knows the answer. On Capital on weeknights at 7pm, they do the hot 7 at 7 countdown with Apple Music, I listen to this on my way home from work as I am usually finished by 7. Does anyone know how the data for it works? Just seems a bit bizarre at times with songs that aren’t that high on Apple currently getting into it. This was tonight’s countdown: 7. The Weeknd & Ariana Grande - Save your tears 6. Lil Nas X - Montero 5. Anne Marie & Niall Horan - Our song 4. Justin Bieber - Peaches 3. Galantis & Little mix - Heartbreak Anthem 2. Doja Cat feat. SZA - Kiss me more 1. Olivia Rodrigo - good 4 u. The top 3 makes a lot more sense as these 3 songs are in the top 4 on apple at the moment, but our song is currently sitting at #30? 😂 Maybe I’m missing something or just being insanely thick but if anyone knows it would be much appreciated :)
