today's game:

Round 2: 27 (didn't get: Mud - I also thought it was The Sweet, Freddie McGregor, Free)

3-in-10: 3 (Superstition, Uptight (Everything's Alright), Happy Birthday)

Thanks both 🙂 As a Madeline Bell fan (and Roger Cook/Herbie Flowers) it's a shame that Blue Mink's run of hits has been forgotten in the cultural memory, Banner Man a fave of this then 13-year-old so at least I'm happy it was in East Is East (set in 1971), now if only that film got more of a profile😇1 question each away from the double-top there, almost there! 🤩Talking of 1971, Ken just played Gypsies Tramps & Thieves...

Round 1: 36 one year out

Round 2: 30 beat me to Toxic, doh! James Blunt

3 in 10: Living For The City, Lately, I Just Called To Say I wish I'd picked a shorter title

Well done on all the 39s. Yesterday's wasn't on the podcast until today, so it's a double bill.

Thursday:

Round 1: 39 💥

Round 2: 36 The year

3 in 10: 3 Lost In France, Total Eclipse Of The Heart, It's A Heartache

Today:

Round 1: 39 💥

Round 2: 33 Backstreet Boys, My Guy (should have got that but My Boy Lollipop is the one that I thought of first)

3 in 10: 2 Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Boxer (Scarborough Fair was my third but that was part of an EP so not sure if he would have counted it)

well done all round on bumper crops of 39! Yes, well spotted Jade exact same answers for everything 😄Rollo, yes you can have the tracks off the EP I reckon, it def made the top 10 I was there when it was in the chart rundown on the Pick Of The Pops in 1969, and Ken said "8 hits" I think, so that's either 7 songs with Mrs Robinson counting twice (which is silly) or those other tracks count as hits too!

round 1: 39

round 2: 39

3 in 10: Paradise, Viva La Vida, Yellow

Yay well done both for all those 39s cheer

today's game:
