I think it's the best live performance they have given on tv ever. I can't find fault with any of it.

Ermmm I beg to disagree about it being their best performance ever -

Just to name a few of my favourites...

^More proof that they are better at singing slower songs than fast ones! I can remember hearing a live performance of Something Kinda Oooh which was on the same level of Something New (i.e. pretty bad).

They do a slow version of SKO well too

Thought the Royal Variety Performance performance was great, can't wait to see them live now! Hoping for more of that and less GMTV style The Loving Kind performances (even if it was BARE HILARE).

Girls Aloud working with Mark Ronson

Thursday, Dec 13 2012

By Lewis Corner

Girls Aloud members were pictured leaving a recording studio last night (December 12), sparking rumours they are working on a new studio album.

Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were seen leaving a studio in London, closely followed by producer Mark Ronson, reports MailOnline.

Girls Aloud have remained quiet about any future plans beyond their upcoming 10th anniversary tour in 2013, and have been coy about recording an album of new material.

However, sources have noted that Walsh and Roberts could be working on their respective solo projects, while some believe the recording session is for backing tracks for their upcoming shows.

Girls Aloud released their latest retrospective collection Ten last month, which features recent single 'Something New' and upcoming cut 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me'

Mark Ronson?! A bit of a random choice - his popularity peak was 2006/7, and it's not as if his most recent work was even that recent (2010, so it'll be three years by the time we hear whatever this is!)
Interesting, interested to know what its for..

This tour really needs to be amazing! I feel like they need to do something else as it all seems a little bit half arsed. They have to release On The Metro!

That would be career suicide, not that "Beautiful Cause You Love Me" hasn't already done that. I would lose a lot of love and respect for them if they did it.

Luckily, their PR have announced on Twitter that the story isn't true :D

Thank God for that! I very much doubted it was going to happen, but I couldn't just ignore the story.
I've updated the banner to the one that Acoustic made back in October - thanks to everyone else that made a banner, but I thought it was a bit too late to make a poll now

I've come to the conclusion that the Megamix from the Something New pre-order is perfection. When Something New leads into Sexy! No No No... in the middle...

Agreed!! The Something New/ Something Kinda Ooooh bit is brilliant as well!

I don't like Untouchable into The Show though... doesn't flow well!

I'm not liking it as much as 'Stars On 45' from 'The Loving Kind's CD single tbh. That is HOW to do a megamix imo.
