After featuring two GA tracks in the latest section of my top 200 ever songs, I'm now going through all their music videos, they were my favourite group growing up! I still love so many of their songs. :wub:
Their music videos are almost always ON POINT. The Show is one of my all-time favourites actually, so light and fun :wub: Love Machine is still very vividly in my mind. I can remember the vast majority of their videos really clearly.

YES tell me about it :wub: The 'Sexy...No No No!' and 'Biology' videos also comes to mind! Joseph I'm now watching this:

 

 

I forgot how much I loved them, it's reminding me of most of my childhood so much!

I adored that documentary, was such a lovely look back on their career :wub: LOL at them glossing over the whole Sound of Girls Aloud era and making it seem as if Something Kinda Ooooh was part of Tangled Up :kink: Still feel quite sad that we're not getting any more GA albums :(
The only thing that irked me about the Ten documentary is why they couldn't all be interviewed together?

Sensational scenes for a Friday: Girls Aloud haven’t actually officially properly split up.

 

This semi-news has been revealed by the band’s chief choreographer and passport guardian Nadine Coyle in an interview with the Daily Mirror. The Mirror note that “Nadine refused to sign a contract formalising their separation – a piece of paper she still has not signed to this day”.

 

“I never signed it,” Nadine says, “so technically I’m still in Girls Aloud; I’m a one man band! I need holograms made up of them so I can go back out on stage in 30 years time…!”

 

She’s making light of the situation but there is a serious point here. In a very strict and we’re sure completely legally binding sense Girls Aloud have not split up so we don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to state that the band could in theory release a brand new single – or even a fresh triple album – before Christmas.

 

Elsewhere in the Mirror chat, Nadine – who famously tweeted this the morning after the The Twitlonger Of Doom – said the following paragraph’s worth of words, this time (we think) with regards to the band issuing a press statement:

 

“I didn’t want to put my name to anything to do with it so I said [to management], ‘If you want to write this thing from these four, then write it from these four – but I am taking no part in it.'”

 

‘These four.’ :(

 

There’s more along similar lines ‘vis-a-vis’ Nadine being the only one that wanted to carry on with it all, but you can head over to the Mirror’s site to read all that.

Ha! I can't believe she actually said that publicly. It's like something her parody Twitter account would say! I love this woman.

There's an article on Digital Spy saying that she only knew of the split and was handed the separation contract 20 minutes before going on stage for the final show.

 

They really do not like her :lol:

Maybe she can invite Frankie, Una, Mollie, Vanessa and Rochelle to join Girls Aloud? :kink:
