For anybody interested, the Official Chart of the Year will be happening this year on Boxing Day from 2-6pm. It is with Dan Draper this year who I think is a new name to the chart.

Isn't it strange nowadays that the Friday chart show gets cancelled a lot on the weekend of Big Weekend in favour of a recap just so they can air more live acts?

To be fair, I do think that there will indeed be a recap of that week's weekly Top 10 somewhere in that year end chart show. Course I won't be recording it since I'll be off following the Christmas chart on December 19th and might not be back taping the chart and taking part in the chart chats until January 9th 2026.

Ooh, I heard him on the Christmas takeover last year and I think he did Friday Early Breakfast in February. I thought he was quite a good listen!

Sam and Danni are doing Breakfast w/c 22nd December but I have heard, though not yet confirmed, that Greg is doing Christmas Day? Ore is doing Boxing Day.

Mylo and Rosie have got Breakfast w/c 29th December, big for them!

Doesn't seem to big blocks and blocks of Anthems shows on the main station this year (which is a first for a long time) as that's being reserved for the Anthems station now and probably where all of the guest host DJs are going to be this year.

ish but a few adjustments with timings so breakfast is starting at 6am for 2 weeks. And cover DJs galore with Nat, Vicky, James, Ore, Swarzy, Emil, Lauren all in

Be interesting to see if they are playlisted shows or just revert to the anthems style format!

Yes I do, not Lauren Redfern though she's great too

They’re both in actually - Lauren Redfern is presenting with Emil in the afternoon slot 28th, 29th and 30th and then Lauren Layfield is presenting that same slot on NYE and then with Ore on NYD!
