It will flop, they are not ABBA and need to stop thinking they are!

  • It's such a bad bad idea... And this was clearly planted by Simon and his team to see if there is any traction to it. Ive had a look and all comments everywhere seem very negative, so that should be a

It's a horrible idea at this point, it's simply far too early. By all means think about doing it in 2046... but not now!! They're only in their early 50s (or 49 x), there's really no valid excuses for

The group has only performed 60 tour dates in the last 24 years. This speaks volumes about their commitment to the group. At this point I don't expect anything from them. I don't even really care about them touring. Hopefully one day we get to hear more unreleased songs by someone leaking them.

I know that the majority of us would love the Spice Girls together again and that we can get frustrated that it rarely happens, because in our eyes there’s wasted potential… but I think we have to be careful not to veer into entitled territory when it comes to this discussion. Obviously we don’t have ownership over them and the harsh truth is that they don’t really owe us anything either.

Even if some of their individual career choices might seem baffling to some, it’s still their prerogative to do what they want to do. If a children’s book venture is fulfilling for Geri, that’s just as valid as Victoria’s fashion line, regardless of the levels of success they achieve.

I am not saying otherwise, I do think of course it is her prerogative. It's just very frustrating as a fan and as someone who wants her to do well. It is also frustrating that Victoria isnot up for performing or recording music anymore, for sure. I guess it just makes more sense to excuse her

It's that VB has ALWAYS, ALWAYS been about fashion, since day one. Iy's whats he was always known for. She studied under the famous designers in NY for YEARS before starting her own brand, which became wildly successful. Geri Halliwell changes "talents" like the rest of us change our socks. At no point did she EEEVER come across as an Oxford academic or the new Shakespeare. It's just all totally inauthentic, and that's the difference. In a few months she'll be claiming to be an actress again, or a hotshot dj, and she'll ALWAYS have been knwon for this according to her.

That works both ways though and we owe them nothing too. Like I love Mel B but I'm not buying her book.

I couldn’t agree more. They should all do whatever makes them happy.

I’d obviously love a five-piece, or four-piece, reunion. But I don’t think it’s on the cards.

I just hope the remaining three aren’t being held back. They could easily pull off another short run of shows, even a few songs, if they wanted to.

They could always bring in Kim Kardashian as Posh Spice and a comedian as Ginger and tour that way? Then do the songs as a threepiece, wirh guests sibgers taking on the pish and ginger roles.
I do love the fact that VB said, sorry, I'm too good for any of this, all the spice personas are beneath my star power anf wealth, after Geri tried stealing her Posh Spice identity!!!
She's such a troll  But ... can you blame her? Of they had built up the band and its legacy, then maybe there would be soemthing to go back to. As is, it's been dead since 2000.

Mel B said in one interview that the project should have been out last year.

Feel like the documentary was delayed as Geri didn't want it out close to her book (Mel B briefly unfollowed her on insta) and then this year for the 30th anniversary was settled on for the Christian scandal to blow up and delay it again.

I'm sure Victoria was ready for it last year when she was in full Spice Girls mode on social media posting almost daily about them but has now defaulted to ignoring it all as things are messy.

Mel B is probably still hoping for it to be released asap.

I don’t believe a word Mel B says about anything in relation to the group.

I think she’s a complete fantasist.

The way Gerita keeps sabotaging this group since 2019 ffs  No wonder fans are bitter

Since 1998!! It's the ego. Too big for the group

Mel B humiliating her so called friend again by bringing up the age thing.

She’s such a cringey person. Anyone can easily find out online that Geri was born in August 1972.

Get a life Mel no wonder she doesn’t want to reunite with you.

At least Mel B is championing the group.

As annoying as she can be sometimes, at least she shows that she cares about the group and wanting to do more group work. That cant be said about a certain member

Mel B has always been like this from Day One and she doesn't change who she is. Her spice colleagues know.
I'm sure they all have a running joke about Geri being the oldest. I even recall during the promo day in 2018 for the tour Geri called herself Grandma spice.
Melanie C has jokingly made the same crack at Geri, I genuinely don’t think it bothers her at all, I wouldn’t be fussed if my friend was doing the same?
