It will flop, they are not ABBA and need to stop thinking they are!

It's a horrible idea at this point, it's simply far too early. By all means think about doing it in 2046... but not now!! They're only in their early 50s (or 49 x), there's really no valid excuses for

Not really... but some fans have pointed towards some UK-artists recent trips to South Korea to work with local Kpop artists...

Probably could be a part of a UK-South Korea project of internacional development of kpop? I could see these two being mentors of some sort

Sad it is most definitely not a Spice project though, urgh

If only it was Mel and Emma scouting talented writers and producers to work on a modern sounding upcoming Spice Girls album :teresa:

I would love that in theory but please no KPop in Spice sound, I think that wouldnt be interesting -_-

There's a new DailyMail article out there stating that Victoria's company Moody Productions made £1million last year from Spice Girls dividends - merch, royalties, etc. Gives you an idea of what the group is making (considering they have to distribute royalties between them and their teams of song writers) per year...

Each of the girls is making roughly £1million per year or there abouts. Could be much higher if they bothered to do anything though

Tina Turner's estate just announced a 40th anniversary box set of Private Dancer. Another example of how to properly do an anniversary edition. There's no reason why the group couldn't have included the full length Instanbul concert on blu-ray with Spice 25 or the live audio concert of Birmingham on Spiceworld 25. Not to mention they won't release any outtakes from the archives.

Tonight's TOTP reruns - which have now moved onto 1997 - on BBC Four had the first performance of "Mama":

Great episode overall actually tonight, Cathy Dennis, Republica, No Doubt, The Source and Candi Staton, Prince (hence why Mel B yelled his name into the mic at the start)

The TOTP performances always makes me think of little me recording them on VHS tapes and watching them over and over again  28 years ago :drama:
Maybe it’s just me, but their vocals always sounded the best when they sang at TOTP! :teresa:

They were miming, though

No one sang live on TOTP

Emma did when she sang What I Am in ‘99 lol

Mel C on a Spice Girls reunion: “Come on! It’s time”

The comments come as the 30th anniversary of ‘Wannabe’ is on the horizon

Mel C has spoken about hopes of a Spice Girls reunion, and said that she feels that “it’s time” for a comeback.

The singer and DJ made the comments during a recent interview with Rebecca Judd on Apple Music 1, where she appeared to promote her forthcoming solo album and debut fitness DJ Mix on Apple Music.

During the discussion, Judd asked the former Spice Girls singer about the potential of her reuniting with the other members – particularly with the 30th anniversary of their debut single ‘Wannabe’ on the horizon.

Explaining that she’d love to organise something to celebrate the milestone, Mel C said: “There has to be something befitting of 30 years since ‘Wannabe’. Once a Spice Girl, always a Spice Girl.

“We all feel like that, but we now are getting together because we know if we’re going to do anything, we have to start planning things to get things right,” she said, hinting that the remaining members are also open to a comeback.

“We have to start making the plans right now and putting them into action. So fingers crossed. I think me and Mel B are probably going to be going in there all guns blazing. Come on! It’s time!”

Eek the tumbleweed in this forum! Where is everybody? 🤪 Are we finally all bored of the girls 😌

I can see why the Spice elite fans held onto this song for so many years. Definitely one of their better unreleased tracks. The song has a lot of personality and it is super catchy. It's so baffling why songs like this have not been commercially released.

nice to finally hear

i prefer is this love and do you think about me?
