Sorry but I disagree, there's horror films that use them all the time, it's got a trigger warning / parental advisory message.

Whilst it's bad that knife violence happens it really isn't that deep, it's used in a campy way as well. Im sorry I think it is a tad dramatic, you can't make everything PG or cater to everyone.

The video is fantastic! Probably her best! So much fun. Surprisingly gory for a pop music video though?

Very gory, but I loved it!! Paparazzi looks so tame next ro it!!

Love the video and the song. Love all the Death Becomes Her stuff, too. Pure pop, just like Katy used ro do, and I hope it gets to no.1, even if ir has to block GaGa to fo so!

Not at all knife crime is on the rise and here's Sabrina picking out machette's and knives from a whole host of weapons (Germany festival stabbing just happened to add to the daily occurences it's a worldwide issue)

LOVE Taste but I still think it's terrible timing with everything happening especially given her younger core audience and I stand by that.

It's callef entertainment. You can't ban all art and entertainment due to real life crime. Otherwise, GTA would be banned - you know, where you can can run around killing eith knives and axes and knuckle dusters... - and all horror movies would be banned, etc. The video is great.

I could argue this all day because I do think it's very distasteful (No pun intended) It has nothing to do with it being PG I'm saying it's a topic that's very prevelant in society at the moment with stabbings happening pretty much daily.

The advisory message isn't really relevant when it's accessible to EVERYONE (6/7/8/9/10 year olds her core fanbase) it's not age restricted.

Big difference in my opinion films are age restricted and way less available than a music video on Youtube (We've seen how younger fans literally idolise popstars)

Personally I think artists have a responsiblity to at least acknowledge what's going on in the world, it's a topic that's all over the news daily.

If this came out without the recent events over the last year or so then fine my point is it's a very odd video to put out AT THIS TIME.

It's very strange I mean come on 7/8 people have been attacked (stabbed) in Germany and she's putting her lipstick on in a knife's reflection (Campy or not it's almost glamourising it)

Obviously, that's my opinion and I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

It’s parodying a movie called ‘Death Becomes Her’ isn’t it? In fact it’s a plethora of movies.

Ywah, Death Becomes Her and Parachute video by GaGa. It's a literal parody! There is ALWAYS knife crime, ans ir has existed since we first had sharo sticks as a species. This does not glamorise it whatsoever, eiher; it doesn't hmske them look macho, or tough; and, in fact, it makes them look quite silly ... because it's a parody. The gore, too, would be unsurvivable for anyone but Death Becomes Her ... and cheesy invincible Marvel movie ... characters. It'd not exactly an advert.

Oh wow the video is really disgusting. Don’t plan on ever watching that again.

But I love Espresso and PPP so all is good.

Both of these are age restricted (GTA was rated 18 so kids couldn't actually buy it).

This video isn't rated can be watched by anyone.

Big difference.

We've gone off topic anyway my opinion and point was that it seemed strange timing to release the video given recent events that was all.

I agree with others with knife crime on the rise , i find the video a bit disturbing.
I guess that's the next #1 single tied up for many weeks to come then. Early congrats to Sabrina for getting three #1s in a single year... who was the last female artist to achieve that?

Jess Glynne in 2015.

This is the most instant of the three singles for me, so I hope it can manage to match the #1 peak of the other two at some point, even if not this week

Watched the video a couple of times and not once did my mind link it to recent real life events until coming into this thread  God the reach

It's literally a campy parody of another campy film, Death Becomes Her...

AND? Do you think kids aged under 12 have any idea what that is!?!

While I can understand the criticism of the video being available to quite a young audience quite easily, I have to say that was one of the best music videos I have seen, I was laughing throughout.

The song is super catchy too.

Taste is on course to be Sabrina Chartpenter’s third consecutive UK #1 single

I wonder if she will be able to match / beat Geri's record of 4 consecutive #1 singles?
