Loooooved her last era, really excited for her to dominate my autumn/winter again
  • 2 weeks later...
People have been saying that for years... (or at least every time she releases a new singe lol)

Her last album campaign was the worst ever, they should waited 6 months for both Exes and the album instead of releasing it in like December. Exes could have been a huge hit if they had waited, instead of being eaten up by Greedy.

Agreed, it was so messy. Had they waited for January for 'exes', then pushed the album in March/April time with 'run for the hills', it could have been much different for her!

Interested to see how she does with a new single, really think it could go either way.

It was such an epic mess up! 'Exes' still did great, but probably could've got a top 10 peak if they'd waited until the new year and they should've released a third single before the album.

I think Exes could have been top 3 if they'd waited

Just checked and Exes peaked at #12, which is not half bad... was worse in the US, where it went low top 40

cos Greedy was getting the airplay and Exes didn't---

Exes chart run: 12-21-51-39-44-18-86-22-25-25-30-23-25-26-25-25-28-27-39-42

To be fair, with that run and 16 weeks in the top 40 I would consider that a pretty sizeable hit. Although waiting for 'Greedy' to die down would've been a better idea.

Exes chart run: 12-21-51-39-44-18-86-22-25-25-30-23-25-26-25-25-28-27-39-42

I presume the weeks from positions 21-44 were due to the Christmas influx but how on earth did it fall from 18 to 86 the week after and then climb to 22 again?! Chart runs look so bizarre these days!
