Listening to the Hits UK Chart hosted by Sam Thompson, much better listen than the official chart show

presentation wise at least if you ignore the news and adverts.

He just played Borderline by Louise as an official trending song.

It's a really confident, accomplished album, I'm loving it! Manifesting is my favourite of the songs I hadn't heard but there are no weak links at all.

That was a great first listen! Agreed that this could easily be a Kylie album. It's non-stop bops, a very cohesive album but goes through various styles of music: disco, 80s-synth, 90s-house, modern-h

I m a huge fan of Louise.

I would like to attend Louise's signing at HMV in London next Saturday, but I can't book on the HMV website because I'm not English.

Can someone help me? Please

^ I think all you can do is turn up on the day and hope for the best: "If there is capacity on the day, it may also be possible to purchase the album instore to gain access, availability will be updated via hmv social media."

That's what I'm going to do on Saturday morning as soon as HMV opens. For the signing session at HMV Westfield for the Heavy Love album, there was no need to reserve a wristband.

I'm really enjoying her vocals and the production but the songs aren't really grabbing me on first listen. 'L.U.V.', 'Diamonds' and 'Don't Kill My Vibe' are my highlights. I'll have to give it a second listen in a few days and see if anything else jumps out.

I am loving this album. Very Kylie meets Jessie Ware. I'm surprised that Louise has been able to produce such a strong, contemporary album. The gayz will love it.

The manager of HMV Oxford told me there were between 1500 and 2000 people at the signing session.

There’s two new Digital albums on her store! One contains two new tracks - Release and Crush. The second is Instrumentals. https://louise.tmstor.es

Extended CD has sold out!

I’m so impressed with this album. Louise should certainly feel proud of herself for this, over 30 years into her career and making music that’s this strong. wub It’s contemporary yet it’s still “Louise” sounding. I don’t think there’s a weak moment across the whole record - for me it’s her most consistent album to date.

I really hope any fans of pop music will give this album a try, even if Louise isn’t an artist you’ve engaged with before. If you like Kylie then this album should be right up your street. I think most pop girls would be happy to have some of these songs in their own catalogues. ❤️

…and that’s my impassioned Louise post of the day done! kink

Heard album twice now and my immediate stand outs are "Only Dancer" and "Get Into It" but the whole album is very strong, I highly recommend!
