Into the top 60 now with my next 5 songs. The songs in this sections come from the 80's, 90's 10's & 20's. I need to fess up and admit I may have mad an error here, I never realised Where Is The Feeling? had a single mix as when doing this I was listening to the almost 7min long album version. That in someway contributed to it's placing here I feel.

For me the album version is a lot better than the single version, but I still would never have chosen that as a single in a million years.

Surprises I found so far are mainly Real Groove being third from bottom - probably the best single from DISCO - and Tension being so low - as it's such a banger.

I can see why the others may have fallen under the radar or dropped in favour over the years. I listened to New York City the other day for possibly only the second time ever and it's really awful. I don't think I've ever heard her version of Dancing Queen and I really don't think I ever need to.

Some of my thought for what it’s worth on the next batch

66. Golden - Not surprised to see this low but I love the album and all the tracks - the album is a career highlight for me

65. New York City - Widely disliked and I get it but I have a lot of love for it - I was at the Bowery show in New York when she showcased it

64. Flower - One of Kylie’s finest ballads, they threw physicals at it but it didn’t take off, sublime song

63. Timebomb - Another favourite but totally forgetten/ignored by Kylie

62. Celebration - It’s fine for what it is and was used to promote the GH and finish off her PWL contract

61. Tension - I heard this in a club at the weekend and it sounded amazing, have a lot of love for this song and the fact it managed to go Top 20.

I didn’t realise there was a single version until a few days ago.

I’ll check it out properly soon.

Where is the feeling, not a go to song at all for me and i still think it was the wrong choice as single.

Musics too sad with you, i adore this, while it never charted its has managed to build up decent sales and i wouldnt be surprised if it ends up the 2nd best seller from Golden

My oh My i dont mind but i think fast forward a year or more and i will forget about it

Hold on to now, i just adore, i hate how badly handled the single was but the songs itself is brilliant.

Especially for you, i have always liked, i have a huge soft spot for it and it has massive nostalgia for me as im old to remember when it first came out.

Flower, Music's Too Sad Without You and Hold on To Now join Tension in a low result.

55. Turn It Into Love
54. All I See
53. A Lifetime To Repair
52. 2 Hearts
51. Into The Blue

Up now we have the songs that just missed out on the top 50 for me. I'm presuming it's a surprise to most that two lead singles feature here in 2 Hearts and Into The Blue. Of all Kylie's lead singles over the decades these two are the ones that have failed to leave an impression on me the most. No horrible songs and in in the case of 2 Hearts not the best single to lead the album in my view. A Lifetime To Repair was quite nice and I can see it improving for me over time. Finally All I See and Turn It Into Love while both are also good are not quite essential for me.

Thanks for the feedback and comments. :)

I'm probably going to need to make a playlist of these lower ranked songs so I can give them more of a chance to shine. :)

Justice for Golden. Kiss Of Life, Tension, Flower and Where is The Feeling please

Thanks for commenting SmileKylie, I love seeing your enthusiasm and involvement on the Kylie forums, so it’s really great to have your unlit here too!

Tension & Flower are certainly ones I want to get more listens in to.

I wish '2 Hearts' had remained a good album track rather than a single, especially a lead single. I believe she didn't want to release it either and was forced to by the label.

Absolutely love 'Into The Blue' though! That is what I feel like she should've come back with in 2007, especially as the lyrics would've had the poignancy and relevance to what she'd been through etc.

Yeah, 2 Hearts is a bad single. No idea why anyone would choose that as a lead, unless it was to keep in with experimenting with genre for lead singles? I wouldn't ever choose to listen to it and would skip it if it came up on shuffle.

Into The Blue, on the otherhand, is an under-rated gem. Uplifting Kylie-pop. Great song.

55. Turn It Into Love

54. All I See

53. A Lifetime To Repair

52. 2 Hearts

51. Into The Blue

Turn it into Love is the only big loss here as im a big fan, i also loved it been mixed with light years on the tour, that combo worked exceptionally well for both songs.

All I See is not a song i really go back to, very aimed at America song.

A Lifetime to Repair i like but i suppose it gets lost among so many greater kylie songs.

2 Hearts, not lead single material at all but probably wouldnt have worked as a 2nd,3rd or 4th single either, if this was an album track only i would probably appreciate it more but part of me holds a grudge that it resulted in like a drug not been a single or the one been the lead.

Into the Blue i like, its a highlight among a very disappointing Kylie period.

Where Is The Feeling - Not a fan favourite at all and the KM94 era was over when it was released but another single I love - really reminds me of London nightlife at the time.

Musics Too Sad Without You - Adore this but I’m a sucker for a Kylie ballad

My Oh My - I like MOM but it doesn’t stand up well against her back catalogue

Especially For You - Not surprised this is low, I love it but it’s very much of its time and the Neighbours hysteria

Turn It Into Love - See above!

All I See - Not a song I revisit very often, not that I dislike it and always enjoy it when I play it but it’s a forgotten track

A Lifetime To Repair - Love everything Golden, perfect album

2 Hearts - Big hit but not one fans are particularly found of, they are lucky it didn’t kill momentum for the album seeing as it was the lead. I don’t dislike it but certainly shouldn’t have been the lead single.

Into The Blue - Such a euphoric song and great start to KMO, Kylie has spoke about how this was predicted to be huge by the label etc and it all went wrong after this

Has she? I'd be very interested to read her comments on this.

It kind of surprises me the label expected such big things, it seemed obvious to me at that point she was gonna struggle a lot more commercially - especially after Radio 1 had dumped her a few years previously.

I know for me I expected something bigger than into the blue prior to its release. New label, new management etc but while I like it I always felt it didn't have anything standout about it which was part of the reason it didn't do aswell as was hoped, commercially kylie was in decline and into the bluecwasnt strong enough to reverse it although it did go top 10 here in Ireland.

Thanks for the comments everyone!! I didn't think I was alone in my thoughts for 2 Hearts...

The next lot of 5 are about to be revealed and they come from the 80's, 90's 00's & 10's.

50. If You Were With Me Now (with Keith Washington)
49. The One
48. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)
47. Cowboy Style
46. It's No Secret

Kicking off the top 50 is the second single If You Were With Me Now which was lifted from Kylie's 4th studio album Let's Get To It. In my early drafts this was sitting inside the top 30 but ended up falling all the way down to 50. I initially loved it's early 90's feel, like it'd been lifted from a Disney movie soundtrack. As it went on though it just didn't stack up to the remaining songs for me. The One for me is similar to All I See, in that I can take it or leave it but I do slightly enjoy it more. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) was the surprise so far for me as I originally thought it would finish a fair bit lower, but the more I listened to it the more I got into it. Cowboy Style which I believe was only released in Australia and New Zeeland is the first Impossible Princess single to drop out for me and whilst I do quite like it, it fails to hit the highs of the three preceding singles from the album. Closing off this section is It's No Secret, I hadn't heard this until earlier this year and I liked it straight away, it just unfortunately doesn't quite match the other 80's singles for me.
