I'm not sure re the video tbh, it took too long to get going by which point the great bit wasn't quite as good.

 

Song is catchy enough though.

I think this will completely derail the hype that Angel Of My Dreams created.

 

It’s…a good song and decent’ish video but nah. Not good enough.

 

I’d chill a bit it’s hardly gonna do a Tears. You have to remember this is not on hot hits uk, which is just literally the most important factor here. Angel of my dreams was.

 

 

Even if she released esspresso it wouldn’t have done much on day one without hot hits on day 1

The annoying thing is on Spotify Angel didn’t do THAT well on Spotify after the first few days, being on hot hits from day one helped it secure a place in the top 50, so it could be stable there. Without being hot hits uk first week it might never have gotten there at all which might be the fate for this.

 

 

The video is just SO good! I love how glossy it is and I can't stop LOL'ing at the scene where she just death stares to the side and sings along doing the ad-libs and everything whilst drenched in "blood" :lol:

 

The start of the video is just reminiscent of the 60's/70's Disco music performances and I love that. :wub:

New Bruno Mars isn’t top 100 yet, so I’d say it’s doing good.

I'm really enjoying this one, the last 30 seconds are so lush.

 

All three songs are sounding great when played together. Bring on the album!

I’m no director but I think the video would have been so much better if after the pan shot of ‘JADE’ lettering we see her entering / walking down some sort of corridor in a slightly more basic outfit, onto the stage then it explodes on the second chorus ‘Passion’ and goes into her performing with the dancers….

 

The end half is honestly so so good but there definitely needed to be another look to break up the dancers / non eventful section.

 

It’s trending number 5 now so it’s doing ok and getting interest.

 

This song though is INSANELY good it’s almost too good for the general public to appreciate! Haha!

 

The heavenly notes of the chorus and outro are just 10/10 perfection!

 

Seriously excited to see her performances on Jools!

That video is brilliant! The Carrie inspiration was a stroke of genius and Jade played the role perfectly! I’m always a sucker for 70s aesthetic too. :wub: I’d still say Midnight Cowboy is my favourite release so far but the standard she’s giving us is incredible. :cheeseblock:
