So its 3 weeks into bake off and no discussion thread? Time to change that! Anyone watching this season I think it has been rather good and better than last couple of years and way more fairer for the contestants too. Surprised at nothing being said on here.

I'm enjoying this series a lot! I felt fatigue in the past few years, but I think they've struck gold with this bunch of contestants. Noel and Alison's chemistry really works.

 

Nelly is an icon and must be protected at all costs :cheeseblock:

Yes. I felt the same there was one year where I felt like oh these challenges are humanly impossible within the time frame LOL but this year they really have thought about things and adjusted and it just works!

 

The contestants are all characters too which helps!!

 

We must protect Nelly! She is the best personality there and just seems so fun!

 

Alison and Noel's chemistry is on point!

Nelly and Dylan are my faves!

 

Was a shame to see John go last night, but he had a really bad week and they had to send him home really.

 

Last Series and this series have felt like a step up and more of a return to 'home bakers' rather than semi professionals. Series 13 was the series for me where I had fatigue and really cba.

Echoing literally all of the above: GBBO started to feel so fatigued, but the last couple of series have really got me back on board! There will be no beating Mel & Sue, but Noel & Allison are the best pair since then for me!
