The consistency in sales is mesmerising. What a hit!

It was blocked by both 'Empire State of Mind' and 'Tik Tok'! The former spent 5 weeks at #1 and the latter 9 weeks. I started following the Billboard Hot 100 closely in 2009 (via the BillboardGoddess YouTube channel for the top 50 and PenaltyKillah for 51-100, major throwbacks there *_*) as a big Gaga fan, so these memories are still burned into my brain :lol:

 

 

I mean they were also two monster hits... but not as good as Bad Romance in my opinion. I rate it as one of the best pop songs of all time it is phenomenal. :wub:

 

The only song capable of threatening Die with a Smile right now would be a Gaga and Weeknd duet.

 

I'd love if they covered this specific song, they would take over the world

Him being one of the biggest on the platform doesn't mean that his new stuff will necessarily be successful + I don't know him and his stuff because he's not big in my country.

 

He's not big in the UK either so don't jump on the bandwagon by pretending to be his stan.

I mean it kinda does though. He's basically the Spanish speaking world's Taylor Swift. It's on you if you're somehow not aware how big he is and has been for quite a few years now, you don't need to live in a country he's big in to be aware of his numbers x

If anyone MUST take the #1 spot from DWAS, I am glad it's him because he is 100% Gaga stan :heart:
