Looks set to be going on ACR :snif: It's had an insane run and will continue to smash globally, + a unique peak for her - so all in all, it's a HUGE win x

"Die With A Smile" is expected to be the second-biggest song of the 2020s decade by the end of 2025.

#24 (+3) in its 34th week in the chart. The longevity! It is only 3 more weeks away from being Gaga's longest-running top 40 hit! It is currently held by "Poker Face", which did 34 weeks in the top 4

#2 is already amazing, I’m annoyed that it couldn’t avoid ACR but it’s had a really good run as it stands!

This song came about at a really bad time for me with my grandad in hospital/then passing, and I think I had an unconscious resentment about my fave (Katy) having the flop of the millennium whilst Gaga continued to smash, so I’ve really ignored this song and rolled my eyes at it for a few months.

But, weirdly enough, in the last week, I guess since the dust has settled on many things in my life… they’ve started playing this as one of the last songs of the night in the bar I work at, and I’ve kinda fallen in love with it. Is this really what I want from Gaga? Probably not, but they both really do do it so well on this track. It feels like you’ve heard it 10x before which was the negative I’ve had for it, but I think that’s materialised into me finding it very classic in the end.

Long story short - late to the party but settled into finding this track really quite beautiful.

Sending love your way Rob, sorry to hear about your grandfather, feel free to message if you ever need to vent / talk.

Weird that it peaked in sales when it was #4 even though the chart peak is #2.

It got very lucky that Good Luck, Babs, Birds of a Feather and Espresso were on ACR.

Annoying it’s off to ACR but a number 2 peak is far and above what I originally expected when I first heard it !
