Unlike 'Crazy' I do actually adore this. I would love for it to be #1

I just think next year's chart will be fantastic :D

Very unusual for the time of year.

Maybe people have just smarted up an realised hardly any decent songs get released in January.

2 :right: (from 2) Eric Prydz vs Floyd - Proper Education

Chart Run: 77-2-2

This is the first time a Pink Floyd record has ever officially been cleared. Lacing David Gilmour’s caliginous vocals with an immense electro bassline, Prydz builds on the epic nature of the original, moulding it into a bouncy slice of crossover brilliance. Using both the original vocal and other musical elements of the 1979 hit, the Swedish house don gives a respectful nod to the anti-establishment aesthetics of the record, while perfectly bringing it up to date, giving it a new lease of life for another assault on the charts. - HMV

Ouch! I'm so bored of Leona Lewis!
Gnarls Barkley - Crazy's physical release was brought forward a week, could the same be done for this Mika guy?
Meh.. not too fussed if this was no.1

Oh no, Leona is still No.1

I have nothing against the girl, she has the potential to be excellent it's just that she didn't do a good version of the song.

I bet the sales were really, really close though

Chart Run: 1-1-1-1

And the winner is... Leona!

The X Factor has yet again been the biggest TV story this year with viewing figures of over 10m every week. The contestants and judges have dominated our airwaves over the past few months with some of the UK's (and the World's!) brightest characters and biggest voices.

Released on the 20th December, 'A Moment Like This', a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s American Idol smash, is a fantastic offering for X Factor fans and makes a perfect Christmas stocking filler gift for all.

Last years winner Shayne Ward's debut single 'That's My Goal' raced straight to the coveted Christmas number 1 spot selling 750k copies in just 4 days and has now sold to date over 1 million copies. As soon as this years winner is revealed, CD manufacturers across the country will immediately push the button on the winner's single working through the night with couriers standing by to deliver the stock to all the stores nationwide for the Wednesday, December 20th deadline. - HMV
