Three New Songs on Spotify:

#46 Myles Smith - Nice to Meet You

#98 Griff - last night's mascara

#99 Zach Bryan - This World's a Giant

Mariah (#51) back ahead of Wham! (#53) with Brenda (#166) being the only other Christmas song. They're also down around 25k compared to the equivalent Friday last year.

Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay's back at #49 with fraudulent streams again.

new Myles Smith up to #25 on Apple and already #18 on Amazon

Here they come...

Apple:

#38 Wham!

#46 Mariah

#59 Shaky

#67 Pogues

#102 Underneath the Tree

#121 Step into Christmas

#152 One More Sleep

Also a new entry for the new BL3SS x CamrinWatsin at #159

Nice To Meet You could be big then, another folky country sounding hit (especially the final minute with the fiddle).

I think he should probably give Donna Lewis a credit, the first two lines of the chorus are basically the same melody as I Love You Always Forever. Which in my mind is why it's so instantly familiar and catchy sounding.

UK Amazon Music

#18. (+5) Disease

#6 without songs on ACR

seen this song (Sam Clegg - Send Me a Sign) as #1 on YT for the last week or so,

didn't realise it was the John Lewis xmas ad

too bad it's doing nothing on Spotify/Apple, great song

I.possible. it won't last long. Occ torpeoed Mariah. Wham will overtake in a day oe two.

Is it though? It was uploaded to a personal account and not on any of John Lewis’ socials. Still it’s a nice message either way

oh sorry they totally fooled me

and I guess they fooled many people cos it's been #1 on Youtube for days now

Heard that’s so true it’s alright, nothing special. Reminds me of a Halsey song. Looks like it’ll be #1 until the Christmas takeover

Mariah and Wham up to #26 and #29 respectively.

Lots of other Xmas big climbers / re-entries too!

575K for Gracie at #1 today, solid figures

Myles is down quite a bit though, down to #73, while if Griff is completely gone

Still wait me bubbles turn up with it’s beginning to look like Christmas

Think the Buble songs are a lot lower than the originals on Spotify this year I read on here?

Interesting that Mariah's back ahead of Wham! (at least for now). Also looks like a dead cert that those two will be top 40 this week now.

Comparison's to equivalent Saturday last year:

All I Want for Christmas is You - 2024: #26; 2023: #17

Last Christmas - 2024: #29; 2023: #16

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree - 2024: #64; 2023: #48 (Was an error where Brenda's streams were going to White Christmas so I've used its position)

Santa Tell Me - 2024: #92; 2023: #47

Jingle Bell Rock - 2024: #123; 2023: #60

Fairytale of New York - 2024: #150; 2023: #150

Underneath the Tree - 2024: #182; 2023: #101

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas - 2024: OUT; 2023: #73

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year - 2024: OUT; 2023: #132

Let it Snow! (Martin) - 2024: OUT; 2023: #172

Merry Christmas Everyone - 2024: OUT; 2023: #191

Everything apart from the Pogues doing significantly worse than last year. Especially Buble, but we know he's been torpedoed on the main playlist

Now wondering if Buble will miss out on his yearly number one album again because of this playlisting
