LMAO at you saying T Boy's on the wrong side of things here and anything he comments on. You're honestly delusional.

You don't see things how they are, you actively choose to see things from a singular, obtuse and destructive point of view.

You literally commented the following only a few posts ago: "I don’t really care to get into your arguments about whether reform is good for Wales it’s just a fact they’re hugely strong in wales and favoured to be the biggest party there.", equating to you choosing to believe that polls - subject to change at any given time and ones you've selectively included to fit your narrative - supersede the shared beliefs and experience of people living in Wales and in a far more credible position to comment.

Yeah you made up a hypothetical situation and assumed what I’d say or do and then asserted that as fact. That’s purely imaginary. You have the unique ability to be on the wrong side of pretty much every issue I’ve ever seen you comment on so i don’t know what you’re really expecting from me. I’m going to see things how they are and you’re going to see things how you want to see them. Different personalities.

I’d ask for evidence of how I’m wrong on ‘every issue’ I comment on but then I remember the many times people have asked you for examples of what you say and are left disappointed.

The hypothetical situation I spoke of is not ‘imaginary’-it’s what I think of you based on the evidence I’ve seen in your posting. I haven’t plucked that out of thin air because I want it to be true, it is the impression you have left on me.

How do you know you are seeing how things are and I’m seeing them how I want to? How do you know that it isn’t the other way around? What evidence are you basing that on?

The US Steelworkers are loving it. Democrats ones quoted in the article supporting it.

Let’s go to the UK where Port Talbot is shut down and the Welsh feel abandoned and now you’re seeing they are becoming a reform stronghold. You have to respect your industries and workers. The UK let China takeover and run the industry into the ground while at the same time letting China undercut and import in cheaper Chinese steel. Just think how crazy that is. Do you know how stupid a country has to be to allow that to happen?

The UK is left with no industries or manufacturing and a bunch of underpaid unhappy or unemployed people and a rising welfare bill. All stems from stupid decisions like this. Trump is showing how it could have been prevented.

Sign, just like Sunderland voted for Brexit. People don't understand the gravitas and long term implications. Get a free $5000 dollars (which I doubt will happen) to keep people in line while the industry is sold off to Japan. When will he realise that the tariffs mean ordinary Americans end up paying the cost.

You argue in circles I never really know what point you’re making. You say it’s not imaginary it’s based on what you think I’d say so your own imagination aka imaginary.

Your whole issue was me saying reform is now strong in Wales then you said yourself they’re strong in Wales. What are you ever actually disputing? Do you even know?

If someone constantly makes anti-Trump points it’s not propaganda if I have a more balanced take it’s propaganda? Because I realised Starmer was an empty suit career climber with no principles early on that means I’m biased? Doesn’t everyone think that now? Lol

I think you have a hard time separating fact from fiction personally but that’s your own issue not mine.

Realising that Reform are growing as a threat in Wales doesn’t cancel out the fact that Plaid have lead in a lot of the polls recently. It also doesn’t cancel out that many people in Wales see Reform as a threat to our own culture, language, etc that they seem to want to eradicate.

There is a difference between imagination and hypothesis. I don’t feel I need to explain more.

And once again, you say you have a balanced view and yet the evidence in your posts does not support this. You appear to judge actions by people rather than people by actions.

The things that you’re saying about me personally in this thread are absolutely ludicrous. I’ve been on this forum for 19 years, I’ve had all sorts thrown at me from people and everyone knows I’ll challenge anything I disagree with. But I have to say, you’re the first person to ever accuse me of not being all there and unable to separate fact from fiction. People may disagree with me every now and then but this attempt at discrediting me is something new.

I’m glad no one is backing you up in your opinion of me.

Mod voice:

Gonna remind everyone here of rule 2 of the Politics forum as we're getting close to that, I would suggest this discussion stop for now. You can attack a poster's ideas, but not them. I know that is a fine line to thread, but try.

2. No ad hominum personal attacks

This is taken very seriously. It is fine to disagree profoundly with others and to even argue in at times heated debates, however any abuse or attack that is directed at another user will result in temporary or permanent suspension of posting rights. We must not make this an unpleasant space where others feel they are unable to contribute for fear of being attacked.

Also, while we're here, I'll invoke Rule 3, try and keep discussions vaguely on topic - if your entire post subject has nothing to do with the title of the thread, consider what you can do to swerve it back to discussing that.

I'll get it back on topic:

Trumo and his cohort of fascists f***in SUCK. Stephen Miller is really in charge. Trump is just his speaking sock puppet, who loves all the attenrion and grift and personal enrichment for him and his billionaire friends. Look at the Nasa funding basically going to SpaceX for vanity projects that are IMPOSSIBLE GRIFTS. Taco Trump is clueless, and he didn't know anyrhing about the case of the American man exhiled to a prison in El Salvador. He toed the Miller line, though.

Just to reiterate Iz, can we please stick to the one depressing topic of this thread, any further posts not relevant to US Politics will be deleted, there's a separate thread to discuss Reform.

Yes imagine believing a series of official polls and trends by well established pollsters surveying a wide range of people rather than one guy wrong about everything. You literally stated the other day a judge blocked Trump’s tariffs because they’re bad policies which is a childlike understanding of politics. Spare me your arrogance please.

oh you finally decided to reply and your selective reading saga continues x

Alas, two mods have now stepped in and asked things be kept on topic, so...?

I just saw your post on the top of the page. Just a bit crazy to call me obtuse when your points come down to ignore polls listen to t boy and judges block policies based on if they’re good or bad. I just responded to the notifications before that. Happy to educate anytime x

In a re-up of the 2017 travel ban, citizens from 12 countries will now be banned from entering the US and a further 7 have increased restrictions.

Baffling move. Iran aside, this is not a list of countries America faces security threats from, despite the Trump administration's characterisation of the ban as such. Nor is it a list of countries with high immigration to the US. Many are US allies. It's a list of some of the poorest and most unfortunate nations on the planet, including Haiti, Myanmar, Somalia and Yemen. Pretty much anyone who gets out of most of those countries is going to be someone fleeing for their life through discrimination or political persecution, dangerous individuals can be and already are banned more granularly. The only way I can describe it is needlessly cruel.

You could characterise the ban from the 1st term as a Muslim ban, which means court cases. This, probably easier for the administration to push through.

The Trump and Elon bromance is officially over. Quite a civil war they have going on at the moment. It was inevitable though

A lot of things flying around. Tesla massively hit.

just going to add in the third member of the unholy trinity for good measure.

I think we all knew the breakup would be messy but it's incredible seeing it happen. Musk truly believing he'd found a regime that would let him do all the things evil billionaires dream of unfettered versus Trump's political pressures to act like a bogstandard Republican due to political forces inside the other branches of government.

I’m living for this. Let them split the party and self destruct
