The setlist was always going to be Mayhem heavy and my prediction that BTW would be well-represented (see the Mayhem Ball thread) was correct too. I still think that Applause should have its resurrection but maybe some day? No one misses LoveGame, Just Dance and Telephone though.

I'm glad she finally felt ready to drop some songs that should have been dropped years and tours ago. It must be liberating. I also liked that she didn't need any surprise guests — it was all her (well, and Gesaffelstein)

Coachella remains such an awful audience, the collapse when she's doing this show for the monsters

^ yeah I totally agree. A liberating moment for her and felt so special just having Gaga and the songs she loves performing.

Also the crowd seemed to be pretty loud, at on TikTok clips I've seen. They probably tuned the background noises down for the live stream.

I also heard there seemed to be some sound issues hence why the more muted response, although the crowd didn’t do her set justice (I don’t have Tik Tok so I can’t see the clips to judge).

The reviews keep on GIVING. Billboard and Consequence of Sound praising it (joining Rolling Stones).

Can't stop thinking about this! The crowd were definitely turned down for the stream so we could mainly hear her. I'm glad they did so!

So so much I want to say but wow!! I’ll post more later I’ve just seen the stream in full now having spent an age rewinding on YouTube to when it was her set.

What a show though!!

I can't get over the GAG of some of the moments.

Poker Face ending with the death of her old self and then Perfect Celebrity/Disease/Paparazzi - the journey through these songs and what they mean for her as a Celebrity. It's really a genius run of songs and the entire show is so perfectly put together.

Ending with Vanish Into You and that song's final lyrics - incredible.

I’m actually quite shocked they left out ‘Just Dance’, as it’s one of her biggest hits!

Wonder if she will include it next week’s Coachella performance? The others omitted I understand but was shook when she didn’t do the said above.

Apparently it's the first performance of this kind (tour/concert) that hasn't included Just Dance in ~17 years :o

Perez Hilton (lol I know not really reputable but still a heavy critic of Gaga and ex-pal), has hailed it as one of the greatest performances of all time (up there with the likes of Michael Jackson), and the best Coachella performance ever.
