Sorry I just went by Spotify, the albums they were on my Christmas playlist entries came out in 2003 and 2005 so assumed that was when they were released.

Move everything up and add:

2 The Wombats - Is This Christmas?

1 Bo Selecta - Proper Chrimbo

Whilst the Fleet Foxes and Mumfords songs people have voted for are better than songs I've included, I can't seriously include anything which I'd listen to all year round!

In no particular order, the first two songs through are:

Two festive classics of the decade make the final! :D

Did expect a couple more votes for S Club 7 but their fans mustn't have been represented too much.

Tweenies is a guilty pleasure :kink: and The Killers track is good. Can't recall how The Feelings one went and was a fan of their first two eras oop.

Unsurprising first two in there :P

I won't lie, I didn't even know of that S Club 7 song until this thread. I thought the closest they came to a Christmas song was Never Had A Dream Come True!

The third and fourth songs through to the final are:

The Mumford & Sons song wasn't even on my radar until this thread but it's clearly a popular track among voters! Kylie's Santa Baby on the other hand always felt like a contender to qualify... and does. :cheer:

Not heard the M&S song before :o was dubious about it being a Christmas song too as a couple of you did point out but it did chart at Christmas time. Shall look forward to hearing it anyhow.

Kylie no surprise of course. Always assumed it was released in 1995 for some reason though but it was not.

The fifth and sixth songs through are:

An accumulation of top points sees Fleet Foxes comfortably qualify while the Sugababes benefitted from the latter half of voters to make it through!

It's funny that radio really hammer Warm This Winter still every year but nobody really chooses to listen to it. Even now it's barely over 5m streams on Spotify in total. Such a shame that Spotify won't add it to Chrismtas Hits.

I've never particularly liked Santa Baby in any version. Will check out the winter themed songs as I can't recall them.

The seventh and eighth songs through are:

Britney's underrated festive offering makes it through after a slow start in the voting process! Band Aid 20 also sneak a spot after receiving a couple of top points later in the voting!

WTW deserves far more! :( I would've expected a lot more than 5m streams by now!

As for Santa Baby, I'm most familiar with Kylie's version but Eartha's is also decent. Michael Buble's has to be the worst with his 'Santa buddy'.

Britney's Christmas song is rather cute. Would love for it to get a top 40 peak someday!

Killers really not doing well here, maybe they'll fare better in the 10's.

Geraldine is an alright novelty song lol not one I'd go out of my way to hear though!
