Not a problem, apologies.

I have now updated the scores to include your last change as I wanted everything to tally up correctly so Martine McCutcheon now gets points from you.

Thanks for voting. You gave 20 points to two songs so I've moved everything below Celebration down by one place and What It Feels Like For A Girl gets knocked off.

Lily Allen - Air Balloon

Max Bygraves - Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellen Bogen By The Sea

David Guetta and Sia - Flames

Leona Lewis featuring Childish Gambino – Trouble

Brenda Lee - All Alone Am I

Mel and Kim - F.L.M.

Shy FX and T Power featuring Di – Shake Ur Body

Splodgenessabounds – Simon Templar/Two Pints of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps Please

VS - Love You Like Mad

Whistle – (Nothing Serious) Just Buggin'

We start off with this punk classic from 1980 which later on inspired the title of a BBC sitcom. The release coincided with the time that Top Of The Pops was off the air due to a strike so the band missed an opportunity to promote it. I haven't checked to see what the oldest single to receive points is but Max Bygraves' long titled song from 1954 must be close to it. In 1987, FLM was the third top 10 hit for Mel and Kim. From the year before, the rap song (Nothing Serious) Just Buggin' was the only hit single by the American group Whistle.

Hilary Duff - Wake Up

Godley & Creme - Wedding Bells

Jesus Jones - International Bright Young Thing

Coi Leray - Players

M.O.P. featuring Busta Rhymes – Ante Up

Progress presents The Boy Wunda – Everybody

Wet Wet Wet – Don't Want To Forgive Me Now

I couldn't find room in my vote for this song so I'm glad Popchartfreak gave it two points. It was the follow-up to Godley & Creme's top 3 single, 'Under Your Thumb'. International Bright Young Thing was the first of just two top 10 hits for Jesus Jones while Don't Want To Forgive Me Now was one of many for Wet Wet Wet.

Nelly - Country Grammar (Hot Shit)

There's only one song with three points. From 2000, it was Nelly's debut single, also peaking at number 7 on the US chart.

Sailor - Girls Girls Girls

And there's only song on four points which is very unusual this low down in the results. Almost every voter's three and four point songs received at least one more vote. Girls Girls Girls was one of two top 10 hits in the mid 70s for Sailor. The other one, 'Glass Of Champagne', went as high as number 2.

Even allowing for perhaps a slightly lower number of #7 peaking hits than higher positions (around 70% of the number of #3s for example), it's surprising that despite the high turnout of voters there was only one song to receive each of 3 and 4 points.

The Splodgenessabounds song is iconic and the Progress song was quite good for its era, but nothing I was considering has dropped out. I wonder if this is Brenda Lee's first appearance in one of these rates, since her Christmas song has never been eligible due to the timing of its peaks.

Thought I could trust you to pick Splodgenessabounds for the embed song :D it's too iconic to get 0 points so I had to include it xx

'Trouble' was also not far off getting points from me and I like 'Shake Ur Body' too. Can't say there's much I know that well and/or care for from the 2-4 pointers.

Can't knock Splodgenessabounds as it's always been something of a fun novelty track.

I also have fond memories of liking Sailor's Girls, Girls, Girls back when I was very young.

After that, at a stretch I'd say I quite like the Jesus Jones and Godley & Creme tracks

All Saints - All Hooked Up

The Beatles - Baby It's You

Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen – Theme from 'Mission: Impossible'

Driver 67 - Car 67

Evelyn King - Love Come Down

Lolly - Viva La Radio

Off-Shore - I Can't Take The Power

Rooster - Come Get Some

Marlon Roudette – When The Beat Drops Out

It's a long time since I've heard this one from 1979, revolving around an exchange between a taxi driver and the controller at the office. It would have charted higher but the record company hadn't pressed enough copies to keep up with the demand following the Top Of The Pops performance. The following year, the Queen Mother said it was her "favourite pop record". The Beatles song here is a 1995 release of a 'Live At The BBC' recording. Love Come Down is Evelyn King's best known song and her only top 20 hit.

Curiosity Killed The Cat - Misfit

Darius - Live Twice

Tom Jones - Funny, Familiar, Forgotten Feelings

Joe featuring Mystikal – Stutter

Kesha - Die Young

Swing Out Sister - Surrender

Misfit was Curiosity Killed The Cat's debut single and was a flop but was re-issued after their next two singles were big hits. From the same year, we have another 'sophisti-pop' song by Swing Out Sister, their follow-up to 'Breakout'. The much missed Darius is here, he appeared on Pop Idol with Gareth Gates who had a stutter, which is the subject of Joe's song.

Gary Barlow - Open Road

Bhangra Knights vs. Husan – Husan

The Beat - Too Nice To Talk To

Cassius - Cassius 1999

Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes - Up Where We Belong

Geri Halliwell - Calling

Princess - Say I'm Your Number One

Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms scored 7 points but is disqualified as it peaked at number 5.

Another one I haven't heard for a long time. This was the fourth of five top 10 hits for The Beat from 1979 to 1983. Up Where We Belong has 345 million streams so will be seen to have underperformed here. Prince and Queen are still to come but for now we have Princess with her biggest hit from 1985.

Viva La Radio by Lolly scored 5 points but is disqualified as it peaked at number 6

Its canonical peak position is actually number 7 now

It was originally announced as a number 6 but the chart had missing sales data so it was re ran

5 Seconds Of Summer - Amnesia

The Four Tops - If I Were A Carpenter

Genesis - I Can't Dance

Hard-Fi - Suburban Knights

Paffendorf - Be Cool

Pet Shop Boys - Before

Travis - Re-Offender

Primarily an albums band, Genesis still had eight top 10 singles with three of them reaching number 7. Two of those received votes with I Can't Dance dropping out first. Pet Shop Boys also have three number 7s, all of which scored points and Before is the first to appear. It was the lead single from their 1996 album 'Bilingual'.

Misfit and Say I’m Your Number One were close to getting points from me. Don’t think I’ve ever heard Too Nice To Talk To before- I do like The Beat’s other big hits (Mirror In The Bathroom and the Can’t Get Used to Losing You and Tears of a Clown covers) anyone got any other recommendations of The Beat hidden gems?
