Haven’t watched a French open final in a long time. Hoping this a good one. Think Carlos will win but I guess it’s 50/50

  • Mensik a name to look out for then! Surely that will make Jack Draper feel better about losing to him straight off the back of the Indian Wells title

  • Jacob Fearnley up to career high of 70 in today's rankings and could be guaranteed an place in the main draw for the French Open.

Might be the highest quality start to a game I’ve ever seen. Carlos breaks for a 2-3 lead

4-2 Sinner in the second set. It just feels like Carlos has to play his best tennis to get anything and obviously that’s difficult to maintain

Wow Carlos breaks back to save the set. Now 5-5. Incredibly high level. This could be a classic if Carlos wins this set

A miracle. Carlos breaks to win set 3

3 sets down 3 hours gone and 2 sets to 1 to Sinner with the momentum with Carlos

Carlos came back from 0-40 and 3 match points 5-4 down to be 5-5 if he wins this will be historic but Sinner got super nervous which is more why he lost those points

Carlos wins the tie break 👏👏and after 4 hours and 11 minutes it is two sets each!

One of the best games you’ll ever see and the final set to come

Sinner amazingly breaks back as Carlos was serving to win

5-5 after 5 hours in the 5th set

90 minutes after saving three Championship points, Alcaraz has pulled off the comeback of all comebacks.

What an incredible spectacle that was, 2 players in their absolute prime. Definitely the second coming of Federer/Nadal 2008 Wimbledon final and once again the Spanish conquer!

Gonna take someone special to break the dominance of these 2.

Agree with that! Felt very much like that 2008 Wimbledon final. Was a great game and so many twists and turns. Loved that a lot.

Completely agree about these two dominating the sport, feel sorry for someone like Draper. He's very good, but nowhere near this level. It'll take some injuries and a lot of good luck for other players to have a chance in the Slams over the next couple of years.

Tbf Murray was absolutely nowhere near any of the big 3 about the time Draper is now in his career and carved out 3 slams so not impossible but would be a monumental achievement.

Musetti Is pretty good too tbh but these two are phenomenal. Great final and I imagine we will be seeing it again at Wimbledon
