Actually one thing we were discussing yesterday at dinner, do Discogs sales count for the charts?

cos with RSD releases or any limited release, many of those are grabbed by flippers, you know,

people who just get it to resell it for a higher price, usually in platforms like Discogs

you should see the ridiculous prices for Taylor-The Lakes single...

and same for Taylor-Lover Live

so that made me thinking, those who sell it on Discogs, does it count? I mean, it's an official platform,

not like selling it on FB market. In my head, it should count, cos it's a sale, but probably doesn't???

No, it's a resale platform and resale sales don't count for the chart as they'll have counted first time they were bought.

I think the triple counting of Queen albums is definitely wrong and a head scratcher by the OCC. Seems designed to allow it to remain forever the biggest selling album. It's certainly the only thing

It must have already been very close 3 weeks ago, and it’s moved 104-103-118 in the weekly chart which has just been enough to keep it in contention.

Has that Simon and Garfunkel album even charted before? Can't find anything about it on Wikipedia!

Guessing this is just Paul Simon's ultimate collection which hit number 1 in 2015? It includes his work with Art as well, maybe they changed the credit silently

yes, was thinking the same, Paul Simon-Ultimate Collection has been top 100 or just outside for the last weeks

Simon & Garfunkel have gazillions of compilations but none called Ultimate Collection that I can see

Ed closing the gap on MR fender what we reckon 2 or 3 weeks before he back at number 2

I think it'll be a very light 2.

oh my Maroon 5 Greatest Hits nearly Platinum x 3

for an album no one has ever bought and it's all playlist streams or from This is Maroon 5

the OCC really needs to make a chart for the Spotify Monthly Listeners and kick them out of the album chart

Hope Gaga can stay in top 20 until the end of the year. It will be difficult though as it's already #32 in the recent mids.

We need a next single (hopefully in the next month) and maybe the tour can boost it?

Seems like Billie is coming for another year in the TOP 10 with HMHAS, her UK tour didn't even start yet and she's still around TOP 10 weekly.

Also i think it should be around 456k for HMHAS in week 19, no ? 450k in total for both last weeks ?
