I think the triple counting of Queen albums is definitely wrong and a head scratcher by the OCC. Seems designed to allow it to remain forever the biggest selling album. It's certainly the only thing

Must be rare for an album to top this list earlier in the year and leave the top 100 so soon.

Which album was that?

For your information.

OCC sales figures to end of July 2025.

So Taylors TLOAS drops on october 3rd which would give 12 weeks till year end possibly not quite enough time to overtake SNS

For the sake of comparison, TTPD did 568,131 in its first 12 weeks. It benefited from the anthology and all the bonus tracks and whatnot that Showgirl wont benefit from, plus the eras tour coming to Wembley and just general excitement from the eras tour. OTOH, if fans dedicate even half of the streams to Showgirl as they did TTPD, theoretically it should be a boost of streaming units. So idk, itll be interesting

I can see TLOS being top 3 fairly easy, bit yeah be interesting if it can get number 1

I dont know if the anthology of TTPD was actually more of a hindrance, it made the album 31 tacks and at 12 tracks TLOS can be listened to almost 3 times in that time

Although album streams are calculated on average of the top 12 tracks minus the top 2

^16 not 12 and it isn’t minus the first two really they just get added as the average of the next 14 so they count even if their streams don’t.

TTPD was surely peak Taylor it’s hard to sell more than that album so Sabrina is definitely safe but yeah wouldn’t be surprised if she gets EOY #2 but of course we don’t know how well Sabrina’s new album will do too. I feel if her last one came out earlier she could have been close to Taylor last year

having 75 tracks worked for the US, her target market, cos there are no limits there for streams to count

for the UK and her Year position I think the most important part is the 1st week physical sales, which could be huge

cos the marketing as a return to pure pop is gonna sell lots I reckon

She only did just over 300k in those last 4 months even added the almost 400k up to now in a whole year she done done 700k , pretty impressive in this day and age but it wouldn't of threatened TTPD last years sales

And if its 16 then it works even more I TLOAS favour only being 12 tracks long🙄

We all believed midnights was peak Taylor then she smashed more records with TTPD so its hard to underestimate her

Im assuming KDH won't be being tracked sales don't always get mentioned when not number 1 on compilation chart

Be very intriguing to see where it finishes think it could be up there top 20 easy

You are vastly overestimating 2025 Ed Sheeran. The other two yeah probable but Alex is finishing the year top 10 whatever happens. Elton John you are vulnerable bud

How subtract did over 200k for the year in 2023 then nothing else and this has actually had a campaign 🤭

Wasn’t paying attention to the charts then but I am now and Ed album looking set for a decent first(probably under 100k) week but after that can’t see much

Well considering subtract only opened with 76k it would be suprising if he did open with 100k 🤣🤣 but considering azizam and sapphire have hovered on the charts for a while this is showing signs of having better legs 😉
