188 | Anamẽ & Lydmor - Hopeful | [35/42 (142) / 14/31 (66)]

A very disappointing flop here as I'd thought this had far more hit potential than the previous handful of dance flops I sent. At the very least qualifying wasn't an issue for this one but we may just have to become a full time rock nation when a piece of beauty as this places bottom ten of the final. Or perhaps we could get away with a song that is both rock and dance?

In other news we've also updated the OP with the map of the States of Danæviia that we meant to do way back when the world map thread was given a re-do.

For BJSC 189 We welcome France's Rémi Gallego whose project The Algorithm combines prog-metal with electronic music. Taken from his sixth album 'Graceful Degradation' takes us on a journey of psytrance with hard hitting guitar sections scattered throughout. The visual accompaniment really adds to the overall experience too so take a watch and listen below. Let's hope the algorithm delivers for The Algorithm and Danæviia this time after our surprise flop.

The algorithm has worked in The Algorithm's favour here and we are once again through to the BJSC final for a record extending 31st time. Following the shock NQs from Hendinia and Aeroche this leaves us at the top of the streak leaderboard.

We have been placed 2nd in the running order so let's see if we can defy the death slot allegations and get our first Top Ten of the year.

Huge banger alert from the country with the longest streak in BJSC
