Two new songs out next Friday - Don't Panic and I Don't Like Your Boyfriend! Not sure which will be the main focus yet.

 

Really excited!!

 

I'm guessing it'll be Don't Panic based off her latest TikTok.

 

Will she still have a fan base after all the stuff with her husband? Eeek!!!

I don’t think the majority of people know who she’s married to anyway (and that I’m not sure how prominent the Slowthai case was anyway!).

 

I would agree that I don’t think these will be particularly well though, I think her last era killed a lot of momentum for her.

She has a husband ? This is news, tbf other than psycho her last era wasn't exactly massive anyway

PSYCHO and UNHEALTHY were both pretty big hits! You need more than 2 hits for an album to really have legs in the chart though so the era wasn't helped by SAD B!TCH's flop and not pushing any other singles from it.

 

 

Don't Panic is pretty good but it really needed a middle 8 and a final chorus to bring it all together, it's FAR too short! I Don't Like Your Boyfriend is much more like it, shame it's not the one seemingly getting the push (though strangely, neither song has been played on Radio 1 yet)

I'm guessing this is just an EP she's throwing out there rather than the start of a full blown era?

It's subtitled "Act I" on her socials so I assume this is the first couple of tracks to come from the new era.

I actually prefer 'Don't Panic' out of the two.

 

Curious to see if she can keep her success going, she's been in the game quite a while now and this feels like it's made zero impact so far.

I feel like this has been a deliberately low key release though, that's why I wasn't sure if it was for a new era proper. I also prefer 'Don't Panic' out of the two.
