Posted February 22Feb 22 It returned tonight! It was a nice mix of acts as usual. I quite liked both golden buzzer acts. Interesting that there's no pre-performance VTs anymore.
March 3Mar 3 Author It does feel like the golden buzzers so far are quite homegrown this year. I enjoyed the impressionist.
March 4Mar 4 I can’t say I’m too shocked this thread is empty despite it being on for two weeks. I ‘casually’ watched both episodes and found each one lacklustre and very much seen-it-all-before.
March 4Mar 4 I saw a little bit for the first time in years since the Brit awards were on after. Some guys were running on Lego on a treadmill. I see more talent scrolling TikTok
March 4Mar 4 Ah didn't realise this was on - doesn't usually start this early on in the year! I'll try and catch up in April.
March 8Mar 8 Author I liked the two golden buzzers.I hope with the watermelons there wasn't actually any danger, but Simon definitely put himself through it because he knew it going wrong would make for good TV (and he was right).

Winners of the title this year? I wouldn't bet against it. On 04/03/2025 at 21:05, PeteFromLeeds said:Ah didn't realise this was on - doesn't usually start this early on in the year! April 16Apr 16 Author They've introduced a golden buzzer to the live shows:https://www.itv.com/britainsgottalent/articles/introducing-the-live-semi-final-golden-buzzer
April 26Apr 26 First live semi-final tonight. Shown over several Saturdays instead of all in one week. Surely Blackouts to go in to final.AkiraAuzzy BloodEden ChoiHeavysaurusLinda MuszendaTeddy MagicThe BlackoutsVinnie McKee
April 26Apr 26 Author I had a feeling the Blackouts would get the GB. I thought Linda would have won that public vote though.
April 26Apr 26 God, that audience was so obnoxious and annoying. Are they supposed to be loud like that? Edited April 26Apr 26 by DanielsAloud

The very first series had them shouting "off off off" to the acts (and booing them) but they've curtailed that a bit and don't let them boo the acts anymore.
June 1Jun 1 Author Harry wouldn't have been my pick but after six consecutive years of either a singer or comedy act winning, it's nice to see someone else win.
June 2Jun 2 I'm genuinely impressed this show is still going especially after what happened to the X Factor but I suppose it's more akin to something like Strictly. I haven't watched since the curtailed 2020 series but I've made a mental note to watch all of the winning entries in the years since.
