It was the third release from her 2000 album 'Oops!... I Did It Again'.
April 1Apr 1 'One' is a classic, I always felt it deserved #1 over 'The Fly', #7 feels far too low for it. 'Stronger' is 100% my favourite Britney song and one of Max Martin's absolute best ❤️ love the video too!'Rehab' is pretty iconic I guess, it just suffers from radio overplay these days.
April 2Apr 2 If I’ve worked it out correctly there are 8 of my original nominated 30 from round one still around in the last 11, I’m happy with that.

Worldwide, it's their best selling single with more than 7 million copies sold.

I'm With You was the third single taken from the Canadian singer's debut album 'Let Go' with all of them reaching the top 10.
April 2Apr 2 Just two of my top 10 remaining then (and I did expect both to be there), rooting for them xOne is U2's best moment, beautiful lyricism and the quiet way the song is sung and slow build has always really resonated with me (the Mary J Blige version that ofc. shouted all over it was totally unnecessary).

Taken from their third album 'Dookie', Basket Case was the Californian band's second top 40 hit and the first to reach the top 10.
April 2Apr 2 One is a very touching song and one I have a soft spot for, shame it didn't quite hit top 10. Rehab, Stronger and I'm With You are songs by great artists but all have other songs I prefer, especially Britney. I thank Green Day's Dookie album for inadvertently getting me interested in "real" music (aka outside of movie/game OSTs), Basket Case has helped me form my current tastes so had to place it highly 😁
April 2Apr 2 One is fantastic, deserved top 10 here. Though the less said about the unnecessary remake with Mary J Blige, the better. Perhaps that counted against it.I'm With You and Basket Case also stand-outs. I thought Boulevard... was quite an underwhelming winner of the #5s rate, for me Basket Case winning this would have felt more fitting, it feels like their most iconic track.
April 2Apr 2 'Basket Case'... what a song! One of the best "singalong" songs ever, I don't think I could ever tire of it.
April 3Apr 3 Basket Case is a great song, probably my favourite Green Day song along with ‘American Idiot’. Wow, there’s a been a few candidates for that title in the last few months!Just noticed there is a definite leaning towards the 90s in the final songs here. Half of the top ten seems quite a significant number. Were there any dominant decades in the other rates, for numbers 1 to 6?
April 3Apr 3 Author Songs from the 90s have always done well in these polls. I think that's down to the average age of the posters on here.

April 3Apr 3 Winners so far have been 2 from the ‘80s, 2 from the ‘90s and 2 from the ‘00s. Which decade will be getting its 3rd win? I haven’t actually checked precisely what’s left but I assume it’s all from those 3 decades.“I’m With You” is nice but not a big Avril highlight for me. I don’t think the power ballad style entirely suits her, though I do like “When You’re Gone” a lot.“Basket Case” was a brilliant breakthrough hit for Green Day; such a bundle of energy.

April 3Apr 3 Really interesting to see the #2 rate, which is the one before I started taking part. My vote would likely have pushed Children, Common People, Born Slippy, Set You Free, Let It Be and Tender up the most!
