Absolutely brilliant night at Socceraid tonight.

 

congratulations to the ROW team who won for the fourth year running!!

 

Can't believe they raised more than £15m for the children :o

 

When he sang Angels it was very special -all the lights were dimmed so you could only see the phones. Everyone singing along -it was beautiful.

 

Very proud of Robbie and Jonny - that's £75m in total they have raised now -absolutely phenomenal amount.

Soccer Aid just keeps getting bigger & bigger . Just over 15ml raised last night which is a magnificient figure .

I wasn't close enough to see the double denim last night :lol: but he was very sparkly. :wub:

 

He had to stand around a long time waiting for the commercial breaks - could see him across the pitch looking vey sparkly. :)

How long did it take them to set up the stage Laura , I often wondered how they do these things live , did it roll on & off :unsure:

 

 

Did his suit sparkle in the dark . i watched it on my laptop but the sky was still quite bright so not sure how it looed if you were actually there :unsure:

It was really just a bit too light - another 15 minutes and it would have been perfect. But -it did look darker and prettier than on the TV and my video. It was a magical moment -even my West Ham loving son-in-law thought it "beautiful".

 

They rolled the stage on really quick with about ten men/women and the orchestra came out and sat on the steps around it.

 

He came on and was waiting probably a good ten minutes while the commercial breaks were on.

 

Then he just walked to the centre of the pitch and started singing as casual as anything. :wub:

We saw this -a funny moment.

There had already been two men that ran onto the pitch and got rugby tackled by the officials

 

This boy ran on about half an hour later our end of the stadium. He only looked about ten years old. He got past an official but Mo Farrer scooped him up and gently placed him back over the barrier.

Then he got escorted off -God knows where his Mum and Dad were though because no one came forward and walked off with him. :huh:

 

They'd probably gone to the bar and came back and he was gone :blink:
