Only slightly down on what Subtract opened with in May 2023 (76,263). A slightly higher number of downloads though, for all it's worth (7,792).

I expected around 80k but he’s done very well. Just couldn’t quite get that third hit to make streaming increase a lot!

Albums particularly since the turn of the decade have been less prone to selling huge amounts anyway, but his first three were so huge I don't think it matters for him.

Not bad at all nearly 15 million album units in the UK alone.

Debuted at #42 in Finland - a total flop! For reference, Mayhem by Gaga is still above that in its 28th week.

Predicted to drop to #8 in its second week in the UK. What a flop, etc.

We get it you dont like Ed 🤣 so clutching at straws with totally random comparisons 🤣 he's number 1 in Germany but mayhem isnt even on that chart, but divide and multiply are 🤷🤣

We all know markets are different in each country. He sold over 150k tickets for two concerts here just few years ago and now charts that low - hardly a success

You can have a successful tour and not a hugely successful album loads do it all the time 🤣🤣

'Symmetry' is really good!

It has a real anthemic quality to it, surprised they haven't gone for it already.

This joke is getting a bit old now, especially with the person it's aimed at being long gone.

There is no doubt Ed has peaked and he has had a decline in success but he was never going to keep those huge sales going and its same for all artists who reach that level, but for an artist so long into his career, love or hate him he is still doing well.
