What's probably going to happen is they end up over-paying for a striker and the Isak deal becomes something like £150m, but the deal will be structured in a way that the add-ons are difficult to achieve and a lower base fee.Ultimately I think we all end up overpaying.

Thursday at 14:382 days Author Manchester United have agreed a deal worth £73.7m (85m euros) with Red Bull Leipzig to sign Benjamin Sesko. The agreement includes a guaranteed payment of £66.3m (76.5m euros) with the remainder in add-ons.Sesko will now complete the formalities, including undergoing a medical, before finalising his move to Old Trafford. That's another target for Newcastle United that they have missed out on.
Thursday at 16:382 days Author Manchester United would want £50m for Alejandro Garnacho this summer, Sky Sports News understands.United are aware of Chelsea's interest in the forward, whose future is likely to be away from Old Trafford.Ruben Amorim said over the weekend to journalists in the USA that "it's clear Garnacho wants a different thing with a different leadership".
Thursday at 18:062 days Well Sesko only needs to shore 5 goals this season and that's already an upgrade on Rasmus.
Thursday at 19:402 days His stats in the Bundesliga were solid, and is the top scorer under 23 in the top 5 leagues over the last two years. Beating Bellingham and Wirtz.

Beating Bellingham and Wirtz. He also is a striker though :lol:I'm interested to see how he gets on. I still think it's a dodgy signing, he will obviously score goals and can be a fun player to watch, but he's really not kicked on at Leipzig. £200m spent this summer and zero sales so far outside of a little bit of money. Got to get Top 4 this season surely.
Yesterday at 15:531 day Haha, that's going to be a fun one then. Italian teams don't pay transfer fees, AC Milan tried to same trick with Nunez.
22 hours ago22 hr Classic Man Utd signing, as always, there's a reason PSG have gone for a new keeper and don't want him on massive wages. Huge red flag if he's coming for a payday. No excuses for a Top 4 finish.

Isn’t like the signings you’re referring to at all. You’re right there is no excuse. No European football too so everybody should be fresh. This is the best Man Utd transfer window in 10 years
14 hours ago14 hr I’m sure the likes of Brighton/Bournmouths/Newcastle would like to be successful and go out and spend 300m a summer like United do whether they fail or not.
12 hours ago12 hr My man, Newcastle is owned by a literal Petrostate as a money laundering operation, they can spend 300m in a window. Their problem is that no one with a lick of sense wants to live in f***ing Newcastle

He's a good keeper certainly, better than Onana, but there's also a big reason PSG have bought Chevalier and would be happy to let Donnarumma go.
