Man Utd history with Brazilians is not amazing but he fits perfect for Amorim’s system. Sancho’s style suits European football not premier league football. Cunha is a proper premier league player

Casemiro wouldn't even get into Southampton's team, worst midfielder in the league.

Put Bayinder between the sticks and we might not leak as many goals.

Forgot all about Evans - another one likely on a big contract!

Wouldn't have thought so. He was only brought back in a year ago due to centre back struggles as a makeshift option. Would only have had a year contract at that point anyway due to his age.

Yeh but at his age he can command a salary above the norm for a squad player. Apparently he’s on 60 grand a week

Jonny Evans' departure means that next season will be the first at Manchester United since 1973-74 without a player who played for the club under Alex Ferguson.

Probably for the best.

Seems Cunha is still coming despite the Europa failure.

My point was the stat which is unbelievable! Assume Phil Jones was the link until Evans returned.

The Cunha deal was done a month ago! He’s a quality player!

Even if Cunha is a massive flop for is it's one of the most intelligent signings we could have made as it's weakening a relegation rival for next season.

Smaller trimmer squad with no European football. Might just be what was needed to fully focus on the prem

There’s nothing to point to him being a flop, he’s an excellent signing! Can imagine next season United will def be a lot better.

You say that every season 😛when was the last time we signed a player from a fellow premier league team and they improved either the team or individually? The answer is Robin Van Persie!

Greenwood had real potential before he ruined his career.

Yeah he was alright but he never really did anything to warrant the hype

Him and Foden were tipped to be the future of England at one point, and now one is no longer in contention whilst the other has had a blip of a season overall.

How rude. Don’t they realise they are dealing with a broke club. Wolves reject Man Utd’s 5 year payment plan for Cunha

Matheus Cunha: Wolves to reject Manchester United proposa...

Wolves are set to reject Manchester United's proposal to pay Matheus Cunha's £62.5m release clause over five years.

Hilarious and just about sums up what we have come to expect and probably deserve by now too. Also, as much as people praise him, Cunha would have a bad disciplinary record that would harm us for major games plus any ability he has now would only get lost in the current culture so clear out the current toxic players as is already happening and then consider redesigning later.

It’s a risk for sure but maybe he’ll be like Amorim’s Cantona type signing. From stuff I’ve seen he was a hothead too. BBC have now updated the article to say Man Utd have now met the two year requirement and are free to speak to Cunha.

If what I have read is true that he's already come in and demanded the #10 shirt (albeit that could just be a made up rumour) then it's going to be brilliant.
