LETS GET A COMPETITION UNDERWAY, SHALL WE?

It's as simple as...

Predicting the WORLDWIDE gross of movies for the year 2025. The cut off point will include the LAST WEEKEND OF 2025 W/C 26th December 2025, chart.

Here's how I will be scoring:

3 points if you're in range (e.g. if you say 750m for a movie and it grosses anything from 751m-759m)

2 points if you're 50m off (either side - e.g. if you say 750m and it grosses anywhere from 700m-749m OR 760m-799m)

1 point if you're 100m off (either side - e.g. if you say 750m and it grosses anywhere from 650m-749m OR 760m-849m)

HOWEVER if you get it BANG ON to the nearest million you get 5 POINTS (e.g. if you say 750m & it grosses 750,000,000-750,999,999)

Does this make sense? Any questions feel free to either question it in here or drop me a PM!

POST ALL ANSWERS IN THIS THREAD [EXCEPT THE TIE-BREAKER - PM ME THE TIE-BREAKER!]

THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE A £20 GIFT CARD TO A CINEMA CHAIN OF THEIR CHOICE (I *believe* the big chains allow e-gift cards so I should be able to make it work (anyone NOT in the UK - I shall try for your chosen venues too, however, I can transfer the £20 to PayPal if needed!))

THE MOVIES TO PREDICT THE WORLDWIDE GROSS ARE:

  • Minecraft [4th April | Warner Bros]

  • Drop [11th April | Universal]

  • Sinners [18th April | Warner Bros]
