Relationships was on a league above the rest. The 2nd and 3rd were not half bad, very Sheryl Crow. The 4th one is my least favourite.

Really not a fan of artists releasing half the album as pre-album singles or grats

Post-album singles often go completely unnoticed these days so it makes total sense to me to release more pre-album tracks.

^yet :D

but also these are not singles just random tracks

and indie artists do have post-album singles

Listened a couple of times today… it’s a decent album, very much got a relaxed summer vibe to it so it’s being released at the right time imo. I enjoyed all of the singles more in context but think it’s going to take a few more plays before some of the others become stand outs.

The album is too long and needed trimming, some songs are b sides at best

Agree that it could be shorter. I wouldn’t miss Everybody’s Trying To Figure Me Out, Try To Feel My Pain or Cry and it is emphasised a bit by the weakest tracks being in the same patch of the album. But these days it’s easy to cull the ones we don’t want so I’m happy enough

This is pleasant enough, but 'Women in Music Pt. III' remains supreme. I'm sure it'll grow a lot over the summer.

I need them to commit to exploring more of this nineties R&B sound ('Relationships', 'Spinning' is very Janet) because they sound fantastic in that world. 'Million Years' is an instant favourite, and another example of how much they excel when they're not playing it so straight.

Summer Girl would sound great on this album.

Gone, Relationships and Million Years are my current top 3
