And just like that we're at the end of season 2! The final episode concludes the series on Saturday with... The Reality War. Once again written by Russell T Davies, we're promised answers to burning questions, an epic finale, and some more twists and turns.

Battle rages across the skies as the Unholy Trinity unleash their deadly ambition. The Doctor, Belinda and Ruby have to risk everything in the quest to save one innocent life.

Hope there’s a good pay off with this episode. After Empire of Death and the explanation of Ruby’s mum etc I have my doubts.

There seems like a lot to cram and resolve in this finale. I’m watching in the cinema for this ep, which should be good!

Fingers crossed with it being an extended episode they resolve as much as possible but also dont rush too much

Yeah hopefully!

I guess the Rani(s) have to be defeated, Conrad too, Omega stopped, Susan to make an appearance and maybe have some form of reunion with the Doctor, Poppy and presumably the Space Babies explained, The Earth/ Reality to flip back to how it was, if its Ncuti's last season possibly a regeneration to fit into the mix too.

There's probably a few other things - like maybe giving Belinda an exit as well that needs to be put in - sure RTD was teasing maybe even some Timeless Child stuff.

I re-watched Soace Babies yesterday. Funnily the Doctor name checks the Rani in it to Ruby!

I thought given the prominence of Poppy it might become a fairly important story. Wasnt as bad as I remembered

Would make sense as its supposedly written as a 2 season arc, not that it was obvious on first watch 😅

Wow just Wow what a finale

That was a mixture of good, bad, odd and OMG

I’d read rumours about the final bit, but was half expecting the credits to roll before the reveal of who was next!

Just out the cinema and Jodie got a cheer - wasn’t expecting her to make an appearance at all!

I would say too much Poppy and not enough Rani(s).

Ruby was great!

But the end

My thoughts- its the moment nit rose or a doctor and its still not the correct reality

Well this series started with a weak episode, after that I got a bored, but managed to carry on watching, I skipped the Eurovision episode as it was rather tedious in places and became unbearable, overall this season had its ups and downs, overall the last two episodes was the best of the lot, it had all the action and it was packed, I totally enjoyed it. And the ending well wow, wow, wow, interesting casting, can't wait to see her in action 😁by the way, I saw that coming with all the rumors going around.

One last thing to add, for me, Ncuti was the worst casting as the Dr. the actor for some reason didn't tick any boxes, bit of a nuisance, all over the place, in a way I'm glad he's gone.

Unless that's belinda gone, and Ruby will be seen again my only major gripe atm is he didn't say goodbye to Ruby but did to Belinda

Yeah it feels he’s gone too soon - also wasn’t sold on the reason to regenerate. But he was such a good charismatic doctor!

Not even sure what to think. It was all over the place and they offed the wrong Rani (possibly). Some of it was pretty good. A lot was downright stupid but it felt like it rescued itself from disaster when Jodie arrived and the goodbye to Belinda.

Then it followed up with a reveal that felt both self indulgent and desperate.

I really hate this decision in ways that if I expressed them honestly, I'd probably be banned for language.

RTD should not be allowed near the show ever again.

Yeah I kept thinking where’s Susan!

I looked at the time a couple of times to think oh there’s 20 minutes left to have Susan come in… then nothing.

Also when he said I don’t want to do this alone, was expecting her to turn up then… not Joy!

Also the credits would normally say introducing as the doctor but it just said introducing billie piper does that mean there's more to it or just an oversight
