Yous have plenty of £££ to spend as usual though.

They really don't. They will spend money, but being inside a UEFA competition means they will have to be more frugile too. Like Dobbo says, they simply have too much to do in a window if they want to compete in 4 competitions. They will sell Rashford in the summer for a good fee and spend money of course but they need a lot of players to boost the squad.

Like everything it's complete hyperbole at the moment, in August everyone thought Liverpool would walk the league. It's all very tight and 85 points looks like it wins you the league as a benchmark. If the referees clamp down on set play grabbling etc. Arsenal will struggle far more. Chelsea will do better, Liverpool haven't become a terrible team overnight, City will still be strong etc. - literally anything could happen. I'd also say Arsenal are completely toothless without Saka.

  • I thought Arsenal already won the league last month?

  • Not even Watford have done that and that's saying something.

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan has stepped down from his position as joint chairman and director of the club with immediate effect "having been made aware of the impending publication of serious historic allegations".

Sullivan has denied any "illegal conduct" and the Hammers say he is leaving "in order to avoid disruption to the club while he addresses the matter privately

A couple of managerial changes:

Kieran McKenna has left incoming Premier League Ipswich.

Rob Edwards has been sacked by outgoing Premier League Wolves.

That's wild re Rob Edwards. They got him literally for next season...

Bet he definitely wishes he didn't leave Boro now!

Wolves improved a bit after Rob Edwards took them over and they could have stood a good chance of returning to the Premier League. The damage was already done by the time he became their manager. Even Pep Guardiola or even prime Sir Alex Ferguson wouldn't have been able to get them to safety from the state that they were in midway through the season.

Yeh it’s very harsh, shows the club is quite unstable but then again who knows the new manager could get them back up and no one will care.

I wonder what the likes of Kieran Tripper are thinking after only joining last week lol.
