I fully believe 'Higher' could've been a #1 instead of 'Missing You' (as that was fairly close sales-wise)

  • 'My Heart Takes Over' being in their top 10 most streamed is a very pleasant surprise for me!!! What an underrated BEAUT!

Up was my introduction to The Saturdays, I remember scrolling through the UK singles chart in late 2008 and seeing Up and The Boy Does Nothing doing well. So I checked them both and and well I’ve been a fan of The Saturdays since.

I'd honestly love it if they made a comeback and announced some tour dates (Obviously smaller venues) and then released the Greatest Hits on Vinyl for the first time with a killer couple of new singles attached.

I doubt it'll ever happen but I really hope one day we get to see them all together for something exciting, despite a few underperforming era's they really lasted a long time compared to loads of girl bands who came and went.

I could honestly see a reality type TV show launched alongside (Like Chasing The Saturdays) but what they're up to now (Mollie Radio 1 / Rochelle's TV work / Baby Brand and Frankie Loose Women / own projects etc and whatever Vanessa has been up to) and following them making a comeback to the pop world shown on ITVBE or something as a mini series.

It would definitely be interesting to see if the fans still cared a video in 2023 showing EGO has over 1M views on Tiktok and loads of comments singing their praises so there's potential

Hopefully they do a Girls Aloud and tour for their 20th anniversary 🤞

Today marks 15 years since "Higher" was released as a single! Despite being one of their lowest-charting songs, it's actually their second biggest-selling hit, after "What About Us".

Really they should've released it first instead of after the album (same goes for 'Ego')

I remember that week being glad/relieved it made the top 10, it was a very close-run thing.

Good point. Both Higher and Ego should’ve been the leads respectively. Both could’ve gone top 5 or better.

It should've been a #1 hit. Many of their singles should've been #1.

I know 'What About Us' was a number 1 for them, but that being their best selling song still kinda feels a bit... "oh" to me. I feel most of their other singles had far more impact, despite lower peaks.

The Saturdays' most-streamed singles on Spotify, from highest to lowest:

  1. What About Us - 76.74 million (combined with version w/o Sean Paul)

  2. Higher - 71.62 million (combined with Flo Rida version)

  3. Ego - 41.58 million (combined single and album version)

  4. Just Can’t Get Enough - 19.96 million (combined single and album version)

  5. All Fired Up - 18.79 million

  6. Issues - 17.77 million (combined single and album version)

  7. Up - 14.74 million (combined single and album version)

  8. Disco Love - 17.70 million

  9. My Heart Takes Over - 13.42 million (combined single and album version)

  10. Notorious - 10.05 million

  11. Not Giving Up - 9.31 million (combined single and album version)

  12. Missing You - 7.05 million (first single to not have both a single and album version)

  13. Forever Is Over - 5.70 million (combined single and album version)

  14. 30 Days - 4.95 million

  15. Work - 4.92 million (combined single and album version)

  16. If This Is Love - 3.59 million (combined single and album version)

  17. Gentleman - 3.52 million

  18. What Are You Waiting For? - 2.79 million

Fun fact: Their version of "When Love Takes Over" is their most-streamed non-single. If it were a single, it would be at #7 on the list as it has 16.49 million streams.

"Not Giving Up" deserved a much better peak than #19. It's one of their best imo.

Should've been released instead of 'Gentleman'!

I said get ready, get set, ‘cause the more I get, the more, more, more I want. I’m not done yet, ‘cause the more I sweat, the more, more, more I want.
